Dremel 3000 with 15 accessories £29.99 at Amazon

Bought this a couple days ago after waiting for prices to go down on them. Excellent tool, don't cheap out. Has been on here a couple times before at £30, but at such a good price I thought it would be good to chuck it on here again.

Also other deals were from homebase etc. - I've found amazon's returns unparalleled.

Lovely I've been waiting on a deal on one of these too.
What jobs exactly would you use one of these for?
Was going to go for this myself, but eventually went for THIS and am extremely pleased with it. Something to consider. Has a huge selection of accessories, as well as a flexible shaft.

Breaking into a teeny tiny safe
My Dremel 3000 just stopped working one day, after only very minimal use. Checked fuse, brushes etc but nothing obvious. I wouldn't buy another Dremel.
I bought a cheap one from ebuyer and it's rubbish wish I'd waited

PC Case Customisation:

Is this appropriate to cut out shapes on bath panels, like to make space for pipes at the edges?
I'm sure my dentist uses this to polish my teeth.
Does this kit come with the pieces required for case modding? Metal cutting pieces for instance.
I got this rather than the homebase deal

I used the buy £30 of gift vouchers and get £7 back - only applicable to people who were emailed

along with student discount code to get 5% back £1.50

So worked out £21.50
Tried quidco for amazon but don't think it will work as its currently only valid on purchases of clothes

Same as this deal at homebase and can use click and collect

Would spare bits from Dremel work with this unit? Does it have the same quick release?

I'm guessing it does based on some of the reviews. Another reason I decided to get this.

"I needed a multi-tool in order to complete a fiddly project. My own 'Other Brand Multi-Tool' was 'on loan' to someone who now can't find it. (Ain't that always how it works?)
I bought this one, not expecting too much, and was totally surprised to find it is all it claims to be and more. The toolbox is perfect for the job, and so is the tool itself and the array of tools.
Well worth the price I paid.
The consumables are compatible with the leading brand. This is everything I needed.
If the borrower ever 'finds' my old one, he can keep it; I have a better one that cost me less."

Does anyone know how this compares to the 4000 or 4200, is it worth spending the extra?
are these good for getting grout out of gaps between tiles?
