Bargain! great wee multitool
Wow, much cheaper than anywhere else it seems! I suggest doing a bit research before buying this battery powered Dremel over a corded one though, just to make sure it will be right for your needs.
I have the 3000 (corded) and was gutted to see these cordless ones at this price (OK I paid £29.99 but you get a lot more with this one in terms of the chopping board, good bag etc).

I suppose the only benefit is mine will have no lack of torque ever, suppose the battery one is somewhat less powerful - NB I'm amazed how much better mine is to my old non-branded version, sooooo much quicker, super piece of kit.
Outdoor only, the search continues.

I went from the corded to the 8220 and didn't notice any difference in power for my use and it's much more convenient. Having said that i'm not sure how the 8100 compares.

I'll admit the wire hasn't caused me any problems, but without a wire I don't have to bother finding a plug, do the job where it is

Yeah I guess it depends in use case, i'm often using mine in the garden or garage where i had to use an extension lead. Next thing I need is a decent cordless drill but I never seem to get any of the Ryobi deals that are on here.
Can this be used to make circular discs of about 3-5 cm?
These are great tools, mine must be 20 Years old, bought from Aldi.
I still don't know what all the bits do.

Aldi used to sell the accessary kit that came in a nice wooden box for £3.99 with all the collet sizes.

The motors on these burn out so easily.

I’d disagree, I’ve had one of these models for the past 7 or 8 years and used and abused it countless times cutting wood and metal, polishing and generally doing far more than it was supposed to be cut out for and it’s still going strong.

i had cheaper ones from the like of maplin etc before that and they just didn’t last, great bit of kit imo
So this is basically the same one as Homebase had for £34 last weekend.
I’ve the 8200-1/35 for sale brand new if anyone is interested? £40

Sort of, if you live in Streatham...(confused)

No. That was the 10.8 (12v) version which is better.
Thanks ordered 8100

why is it called- outdoor project kit ?
It’s new but it’s taken, thanks for the interest
Great price, ordered thanks. Going to use for my 3D printing and RC hobbies.
Just looked and it's li ion not NiMH. What a steal.

Because it comes with a sharpening tool for lawn mower, polishing tools you can use on eg a BBQ grill, and a chopping board you can engrave and use with outdoor dining. See the photos for more info.

You can with one of these:

dremeleurope.com/gen…-p/

Youd need to check it is compatible with this model though as I use mine with a corded dremel.

Was it craigavon?
Trying to think of a reason not to buy this?

No it was out of warranty and it was a common fault at the time, eBay was full of copy replacement parts, easy fix just didn’t last long.
It was a wired dremmel, loved the tool to be honest.

I'd recommend the Chuck, can't believe it doesn't come with it, it's only a couple of quid and makes it a joy to work with...
Is this better than 'Dremel 4000 with 1 Attachment 45 Accessories' ? Just bought Dremel 4000 for £70. If this is a better value then I may return it.

I would agree with this, makes working with it so much easier.

Go for the Dewalt DCD796. Got mine with 2x 4Ah batteries and charger and tstak for less than £150 iirc. It was online from a store in Scotland. If i remember the place i'll post a link.
Off topic here but when clicking the “get deal” link on mobile (Chrome/iOS) it’s trying to “open page in another application” then goes to a blank page. Id there a fix for this, other than the obvious searching for it on Argos eBay workaround?
