Sorry about that. It's often the case with homebase stuff. When reduced, they can be very hard to get hold of.

Had it since June ‘18, used virtually every day and not needed to replace anything. Tips seem to clean up easily!
37 in stock at Brentford - but do I need another gas soldering iron? Already got one in the garage, one in my office/workshop and one in the portable kitbox. So I guess the answer is "no". Although ... does this has electronic ignition? My ancient Bluepoint one doesn't, and can be hard to light.
Who even solders these days?
I've had a few and this is easily far and away the best.

It does have electronic ignition, and lights up first time every time!

Depends on use, but it's a fairly big tank, so it will last.
Correct me if I am wrong but I think it doesn't come with gas pre-filled, so you need to have purified butane gas to start with.

Correct, I don't think it's allowed . Either way, you'll have to get a gas canister to refill anyway, and they are cheap, so it shouldn't be a bother.

No, it doesn't come pre-filled. It doesn't come with a gas canister either. You have to buy one. You can use lighter fuel/gas and get it for £1 from the pound shops.

I wouldn't be so hasty,
The Lidl one looks like a total copy of the Dremel, imitation is the best form of flattery!.
The tips looked the same when I saw it last weekend .
