They don't warehouse and unsold goods are a profit drain, it's cheaper to massively reduce than it is to landfill or recycle small amounts of goods. Just as safe as when it cost more.
Yep very thanks

So if it was £50, would it be safe? Power tools are maybe not your thing! Google is always your friend when considering purchasing anything.

Power tools are not thing my at all, you are completely right but I’m a great believer of
“ when it’s too good 2 be true it usually is”
Can’t imagine they would even cover the cost price if this was half decent, even on aliExpress direct from China it’s not close to these prices, can’t see why they would take a lose on it, at 7.50 a pop Seems too good to be true

To be fair, I wouldn't worry about it.

They usually have a 3 year guarantee so if it does break down before December 2022 you'll get your whopping £7.50 back, providing you keep the receipt.

Sometimes there are bargains to be had.
I'd be confident in saying this is one of them.
Don't fret over £7.50.

If this was some £8 unheard brand of drill on Amazon or ebay I'd say avoid but Lidl won't be selling unsafe, untested goods so there's a very low risk of danger regarding electrical safety. Still dangerous in the wrong hands though! any drill can drill through a gas pipe, mains wire or hand!

Great find. Is this store specific?
Just picked up planner for 12.99,and there was lots of wired welders for less than 50 pounds. Plus metal cutters and mortar mixers for 8.99 ( in Hawkinge store)
Under £10 for a drill!? Heat added!
