I don't see how this may elude any taxes. An import certificate must be on all none EU imported goods so surely it will still have to have one on by law.

This must detail it's contents and value.

Exactly as if you send something outside the EU then you have to put one on whether it's business or personal.

Won't make any difference. You get taxed on the customs label, not the fact its got DX printed on the package.

Removing the logo is for dropshipping (ie selling the items on auction sites and getting dx to send direct to the customer without any of there logo,s) meaning they dont know where it came from

They're good like that, they directly translate US$ to HK$ for customs and as there's about 13 million HK$ to the US$ no tax to pay

Think its something like HK$14 to £1...... they listed it as HK$45 ie about £3. Value was only really £13 - so not a problem either way. I always tend to order stuff to the value of £18 - and if I need more, do it a day or so later after the first one is shipped. (They have been known to link orders - which puts it at a slight risk from our nice C&E people!)

as it's free postage there is no harm in splitting items up into packages of £18 if you can. Like the other poster said, taking the name off is just if you are selling on and believe that DX will ship direct (dropship) in a reasonable length of time. If they do take ages, as can happen, you might have problems with your customer
