Couldn't believe it when I found 4 copies of this on the shelf tonight in Asda (Doncaster)! Bought 2 as Crimbo gifts so there were 2 left. Apparently they just got them in today so it may well be worth trying other branches if you're looking for this, because as well as being very hard to get hold of, it's also one of the cheapest prices that I've found for this game.

Good on you for finding a deal and good on you for coming from Donny :w00t::w00t:

So sorry that I wasn't able to drive round every other branch nationwide before posting.
Now that you've had the heads up that Doncaster Asda had them 20 mins before I posted, at a very low price, therefore your local Asda MAY have them, you'll have to contact them yourself. Apologies I couldn't just turn up at your house with a copy gift-wrapped! :santa:

Both branches of Argos in Donaster have them showing as available too but they are a little more expensive at £29.35.

thanks OP. Halesowen Asda had 5 copies this morning, £24.18 each. Gamestation also had 3 left but at £29.99.

Nice one OP. Went along with my mum to Asda this afternoon and got myself another Christmas present

Heat and rep left.

It was also in stock at Asda in Kinmel Bay near Rhyl. I know because I bought a copy. The lady behind the counter said they are selling like hot cakes as they simply can't get stock.

No need to apologise for not bringing one round, got mine a couple of months back for £19.99 on offer at GameStation, before the xmas rush started.

As for the nationwide tour of Asdas, no need to apologise for not having time for that either - can't remember asking you to do this though

Anyhoo... called in to my local Asda today for some last minute bits & pieces, and took a moment to check on DS games. Guess which title was OOS? So, to refer back to my original statement, I'm not feeling any heat from two copies (most probably gone) in one, sorry four branches of Asda.

Sarcastic responses... and they wonder why people leave anonymous cold votes.

Yawn.....I don't really give a toss.

If I've helped someone get the game then great. If people think I shouldn't have posted because I could only talk about stock in Doncaster then let them vote cold. Last time I looked there weren't any prizes for hot votes, so what's the point anyway? I post if I find something I think will help. And from reading the above it did, so I'm happy.

See this is exactly why people leave colds with no comments.

Noone ever said you shouldn't have posted, at any stage. You're absolutely right, deals are posted and if just one person gets a good deal, then it's a good job done - and I hope people left you rep in return! That said, people will vote on how good a deal it is on a wider scale - and should of course leave feedback or comment if they're voting it cold. At least I bothered to give my reasons, but negative reactions like yours simply put others off doing the same.

Nothing worse than a sub-zero OP with NO reasons why it's gone cold!

has also found stock in the Doncaster branch of Asda, thanks

Cool! Think they're coming in nationwide again now so there'll be a lot of happy folks on Christmas day.

As I said, I really don't give a toss about hot/cold. I personally (not saying others should too, just my own opinion) never vote cold unless there's something that's actually bad with a deal. About 99% of my votes are hot, but I probably only vote on about 10%ish of deals I see. If it's just because it's a bit specific or specialised in any way that's not relevant to me then I just don't bother voting. I'm genuinely interested in the bit where you say nobody said I shouldn't have posted...surely cold votes are just that? If people (not me, as I don't really care) thought a deal was going to get a load of cold votes, would they bother posting it in the first place? I reckon that getting a very cold score would put any less thick-skinned peeps of posting in the future. Maybe I'm wrong? It doesn't happen often, but it's always a possibility...:p

If everyone took the attitude that this post referred to Asda in Doncaster (although it's obviously nationwide, I doubt Asda would have allocated their entire stocks to the Donny branch, especially as a significant proportion of the local population can't even spell DS never mind play a game of puzzles and riddles) and voted cold on that basis, then although it wouldn't bother me personally, it's a bit of a shame if someone else doesn't notice the post because it's gone blue so they assume it was a bum deal, and miss out as their local Asda happened to have a dozen copies. It was a heads-up post, not a suggestion that everyone in the country drive to Doncaster and descend upon Asda to fight over 2 remaining copies. (just in case there was any confusion there over motive)

Anyway, I don't know why I'm bothering, but the attitude of many on this site (not you in this case Ricaird - I genuinely appreciate/accept your responses) really gets on my wick. And I'm bored as I'm waiting for someone to arrive in 10 mins, so just passing the time.

I MUST NOT BUY ANY MORE STUFF...

some people take this site far far too seriously
