Got one myself instore yesterday, didn't realise they were online too. I also got a large aluminium table for a tenner, some 30l dry sacs for £1.50 and some trekking poles for a quid.

Not everything is online, but a lot can be found here: wilko.com/out…162?sort=price&parentCategoryRef=162&order=asc&q=*&setpagenum=1&perpage=12

For those travelling light they also have a small burner that clips straight onto a gas bottle for a fiver:

Any good prices on the little gas bottles?

Not found any yet. I use an adapter on my cadac so that I can use the cheaper bottles, but I suspect this one is too short to take them.

It actually screws on.... Its the Campingaz ones that click on.
The screw on ones are better because you can get cheap generic canisters, and not have to pay top dollar for the usual well known makes like Coleman.

I can't see the table online I'm afraid, they had several in Stafford yesterday though so probably best to try instore. Its called an alu-lite folding table and has barcode 0299 7902 if that helps at all?

Thanks i'll check my local!

Do these bulbs run on gas?

Great bargain, thanks. These are £28.81 on Amazon. I'm building up my camping equipment for next year. After my last trip I realised that you're really limited to what you can have for dinner when you have only a single stove.

Yes and No. They have gas inside the tubes (mercury vapour) which emits ultraviolet rays when electricity runs through it, causing the phosphor coating to glow. Hope that helps

2 weeks ago I got a festival cooking kit for £2 IIRC. Was 2 mess tins that fit inside each other, 2 sets of metal cutlery and a hexi stove with tablets. No sign of it online, but may be worth looking if instore.

Honestly looks like a death trap. Invest properly in camping kit or use disposable bbqs.

Looks like it could fall over easy in unsteady ground and flamethrower everything including small animals, children and livestock. No one would survive

Good point, it could destroy the countryside and then where would I go camping? Perhaps I should expire this before too many lives are lost, whatever was I thinking?

do these just use standard gas carts like these: http://www.go-system.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/4/image/400x/5e06319eda06f020e43594a9c230972d/g/2/g2289---gas-cartridge_1.jpg

Do the carts just clip onto the bottom of the stoves so it looks like 2 gas cans dangling?
