Good price, nice find raj75 I've added the price and retailer name to your deals title as it helps people to see your deal better

Great phone cheap price...ordered one thanks

Bargain.. so much so I am making up good reasons to buy one!

Make sure first if Heartbleed is affecting Android 4.1.2
Some say no, others say yes.
For a bit of reassurance though, read this Guardian article Guardian

Has this phone got wifi and hd quality. Is the phone unlocked, does it come with charger and box thanks

Just be aware, Archos has been a bit notorious for having features that don't actually work due to buggy software. Might want to check forums first.

User reviews section is showing over 600 reviews but visible only 2. 3 stars is not a good sign.

I've never understood why more mainstream manufacturers dont make their phones Dual SIM. I think this is about the only time a manufacturer I have heard of has made one.

A dual SIM Galaxy Note or iPhone would be excellent.

Because UK networks don't like it in the slightest. Imagine pairing a permanent 3 sim with unlimited texts, minimal minutes and importantly, AYCE data (£9.90 if you're good at sweet-talking them into £6.90 deal with £3 add-on) with an unlimited calls PAYG sim. Permanent number for you on the 3 sim, change the other sim monthly to keep getting the first month offers...

I think they do make dual SIM. They just don't sell in UK.. In India, most phones (Samsung etc.,) are dual equivalent of UK ones.. for e.g Moto G 16GB is sold as dual sim for Rs14,000 (around £140).

4GB ROM may be an issue.

I'd definitely get that Moto if it was available here. I'll see if there is something imported available on Amazon or eBay.

dual sim Moto Gs are available on ebay for about £150 - nearly twice the price of this (but with 16GB)

£184 for the Dual SIM 16GB Moto G.

The Asus Zenfone 5 looks nice for £153 if Dual SIM is what you're after.

With price like that you can't go wrong especially if you need a dual sim phone like myself. Thanks OP, now any recommendation for good case?

Thanks. I have a work SIMCard and my personal one. Would be great not to have to carry 2 phones.

Forget the dual sim bit and just get a Moto G... I know everyone does but it truly is a quality phone with excellent battery

The moto g is only excellent because it is £100

It has some great features but lets not forget the camera is rubbish and so is good playback on things like youtube (the picture quality is rarely good). It also does not have 4G.

I cant see how a dual sim moto g at nearly £200 is a good deal, it distorts the value of the phone and the reason so many people bought it (including me). The reason we all love the moto g is the price and what you get for the price. Double that price and it is pointless i think...

the Moto G that is £100 only has 8gb of internal storage and it doesn't take an SD card. The Moto G which has 16gb of internal memory is about £140 on a network and about £160 simfree.

The Archos 50 takes an SD card but my main phone takes a micro sim and I hate trying to use a sim adapter. If it took a micro sim I would consider this phone.

At £80 it would have been a good deal, but pricing it at £95, which is around the price of the Moto G 8GB, is too much.
I'd like dual sim & microSD slot, but the better battery & 720p screen to me seems a better deal (even if it means having to mess around with OTG for extra space).

4.1.2 should be fine, only 4.1.1 is affected, it seems. But either one is an ancient version, and I would not spent money on a phone that is already outdated. The dual SIM is interesting, but then again the resolution is very yesteryear, too.

Great deal, seems the OP has copy and paste everything from my deal some weeks ago. (_;) Seems a few people have done this when posting the Archos 50, I have actully type everything you see, all text arrange accordingly. It would be nice to get some recognition.

As for the phone, its superb I actually have this phone as my everyday phone. I have to order from Game twice to get one that was new, its seems Game do sell a lot of refurbished phones (but the Archos is sold as new).

The Archos 50 was £149.99 a few months ago at Game, it dropped to £129.99 and then £99.99

Last month is was just £69.99 and sold out instantly.

This morning the phone went back instock and was priced at £79.99, hours later it went upto £94.99. (_;)

Argos still have this phone priced at £239.95 oO

Currys £199.99.

They do X) Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Duos Samsung do a range of their Dual sim phones called Duos.

Here is the Samsung GALAXY Note 3 Dual Sim

The dual sim phone has been frowned upon by the larger phone manufacturers partly due to their close ties with mobile phone networks who would prefer that customers use only one network exclusively.

Dual sim phones have been targeted more at developing countries due to the high phone network charges.

Also people who travel regular, business men and women are buyers of a dual sim phone.

Why not just get an adpater if you already have a flagship phone. Dual sim adapters are cheap and they work well... like this one.. pages.ebay.com/lin…397

Stay away it's battery life won't last 4-5 hours

You only have 1 active SIM with something like that.

Dual SIM phones both are active, so you can receive calls on either number.

I think its more of a geographical thing. When I was in india last year almost all the phones were dual sim. I think there was a Samsung Galaxy (Grande?) too

I was looking at dual-SIM phones but was put-off when I realised they use more battery than single-SIM phones. You may as well just get a small dumb-phone and use that as backup (the benefit being that dumb-phones have incredible battery life)

Is the any way to return this phone if you don't like it
