*(Tesco clubcard double points and Quidco (3% for Tesco Direct) can bring the actual cost down to about £27.30)

With 20% off all gaming at Tesco this seems to be the best price around for the Sony (genuine) dualshock wireless controller. Hard to find it for this price ever. Amazon 32.99 at time of posting.

None of the non-genuine controllers seem to come close in terms of precision etc.
Also the Red one WAS also the same price (Thanks to geoyakult)- The link to the RED one on Tesco site is direct.tesco.com/q/R…px- But the RED one is out of stock now.)

Select store delivery to pick up from Tesco for free and avoid the delivery charge. But even with the delivery charge if you get Quidco and double CC points this works out the cheapest.

I must give credit to MissGemgem who (a couple of days ago) predicted the Tesco 20% off gaming deal that started today.

I've been keeping an eye on the dual shock 3 controller prices for a while now just as I browse for games etc. Especially with cashback and points deducted it the cost @ Tesco becomes about £27.30, I've never seen it anywhere that cheap (as far as I can remember), and Tesco is a known company for peace of mind.

Games eventually come down in price but these PS3 Dualshock controllers seem to hold their prices over a long period with very little price movement. Got two at home but might buy a 3rd controller, and the cheapeies don't seem to work as well from online reviews.

Heat added - looking to replace mine, so any discount on the RRP is appreciated.

Note - the red one is also part of the deal, same price. HMV i think sells for something stupid like £42.99

Agree, and can't really see it coming down any more though (hey, what do I know, I could be wrong, Amazon might try and beat this price).
I wish it was just over £20 mark or so, but unfortunately wishing won't make it come down any lower!!!

Play TV is only £26, surely that's good too?

Thanks- I've got the red one as well- It's nice, very slightly prefer the black one still though.
Here's the link to the Red one on the tesco site. I'm unsure whether it should be posted as another deal?

I was going to order this until i saw they wanted £5.00 for delivery making it the normal price and most places do free delivery at this price.

You can collect it free at a chosen store mate. It's in the process when you proceed to checkout.

Can collect at your local tesco store for free if you choose the option (of course if you have a local tesco- who does it- that is, but can collect from over 270 Tesco stores nationwide). Collection is a very easy and quick process. Even if you couldn't collect and you pay postage, but if you get the Quidco and the double Clubcard points this will still be cheaper than getting it from Amazon. If home delivered it would be (£27.30+£5)= £32.30 at Tesco direct delivered to your home vs £32.99 at Amazon.(_;)

Not that good a price, shame it's not 20% off £28.72

Reviews don't seem that good for non-official controllers for the PS3. Argos sells them too. I suppose lack of quality competition is letting Sony hold their prices up - you can call it a sony monopoly or a sonopoly! Sony seem to do it with all their accessories and any downloadable games for the PSP due to no competition.

ordered one for collecting in-store

I ordered one from game for £29.99 using my remaning reward points balance. Too much hastle go to a store and pickup as i don't have a tesco near me.

Can be bought for the same price instore.

Just picked one up from my nearest Tesco. Was a bit of a trek, but there was a couple in stock so all's good.

Have been after an extra for a while and the £25 deals here have been with site's I've either heard bad things of or had big delivery delays, so can't beat a high street store deal.

Got one yesterday from wembley store, had only 3 left, now out of stock, great price and lowest I have seen them. Wanted a Red one but none were left, had to settle for black.

Can anyone please verify that the controllers tesco is selling are genuine? Bought some off ebay and they were knock offs. Can't stand knock off controllers--they just don't work right at all. Tesco being tesco I'd expect them to be legit but after reading some of the reviews, one person said that he could see the LED light of a red controller flashing through the case. This is a known indicator (among many others I've researched) of a fake. Any advice?
