-_-" but I booked holiday in Aug. Wish I could use this deal!!!
One way flights are costly than return.
Thanks for that just booked for bangkok £233 each + £21 for the budapest flight with ryan air plenty of time in budapest for the flight change unless its cancelled but a steal at £255 each as good as buy one get one free
If want a return from Heathrow to Dubai, where does Budapest come into the equation?
Dubai for £200 or so return...holy deal batman!
cold would be hot if £9 each way
I already booked after seeing it on the German hukd. 3,5 weeks in Thailand and Malaysia for 266 quid with decent airlines. Cracking deal!
Am i missing something here? Op, you added connections BUD - DXB then DXB - BKK which equates to £428 PLUS you have to get from the UK to BUD on the outward journey to connect... For a total of circa £500 LON - BKK return i really don't see what's massively hot about this.... Bangkok/Thailand in may is not peak season and i'd imagine plenty of £500'ish return flights around without having to muck around with connections.

* Just did LON - BKK return on your exact dates and it's coming in at £498 RETURN so that's be the way to go!

Anyway thanks for the post, but not for me.

excellent find
stray cat I think you are missing something some where. I have imputted BUD to Bkk and BKK to LHR. £358 + c.c charge approx£8 and to get to BUD ryan air stanstead approx £66 tax c.c and large bag included total approx £432 only drawback is 5 hrs transit BUD and return trip 5hrs Doha. for £20 more only 2 hrs Doha If anyone interested Qatar air one of the best airlines 2011 ryan air one of the worst. I wished I had known about this deal a week ago I have paid £514 on Qatars own web site (special deal)
Searching the Bangkok trip on Qatar Airways site actually works out cheaper £249, though it is priced in Hungarian Forints. It is the same price returning to MANCHESTER (far more useful) :). However, it is a lot of faffing about so is only for those for whom price is the main issue, and don't mind the agro of budget airlines for the UK to Budapest leg. Standard price from Manchester on these dates is £482, which is cheaper than LHR

It's worth joining the Qatar Privilage club first. A recent trip to Vietnam provided enough points to pay for most of our purchase of 2 bottles of VSOP Cognac at Doha Airport.
Really need something like this for september so fingers crossed & heat added

Hi Darren9030, did you find anything for September. I'm looking for something around then as well.
Male (Maldives) for £337.20 plus one-way to Budapest, next cheapest was Sri Lankan at £1,363.90 !!!

Dates were May 19 - 26 but I'm sure many others are available providing they meet the return by June 6 rule.

Its even cheaper if you book directly through Qatar airways website. X)
Far too much faffing about involved with this.
Seriously people are voting this HOT?!!!

Let's take the OP's Dubai option!

Firstly why would you want to waste a holiday in transit unless of course you really have got holiday days to waste?

Second you have to hope like mad that your BUDGET flight to Budapest is not late thereby missing the connecting flight to Dubai.

Third, you have to buy the budget flight and add on the extra luggage costs that Easyjet, Ryanair will charge unless your are planning on living off hand luggage for the whole duration of your holiday.

Fourth, do budget airlines fly from Heathrow? So there's another headache if like me you park at airport car parks.

This deal is only worth considering if you wanted to do a break in Budapest and then finish off somewhere else.

With the Dubai example the OP has given you're spending close to £250-£300 by the time you've bought your budget flight and wasted a day in transit. So I'd rather spend the an extra £50-£100 and not waste the holiday day in transit and book direct and have a peacful flight.

Just did a direct flight with return on same dates as OP's example from London to Dubai direct coming in at £344 with Royal Brunei with none of the above hassle. (Next cheapest was Emirates for £376)

^hmm well not every goes on traditional holidays, I like to travel for long periods at a time.

I would be going for this if you didn't have to return so early.
Fantastic deal!
Just A NOTE - THE LAST TIME I BOOKED WITH EASYJET TO BUDAPEST IN MARCH THE FLIGHT WAS 6 HOURS LATE - WE MISSED OUR CONNECTING FLIGHT.I WAS TOLD THIS WAS DUE TO RUNWAY WORK AT BUDAPEST AIRPORT WHICH WILL BE GOING ON UNTIL MID JULY.THEY SEEM TO BE PUTTING A NEW C SURFACE DOWN WHICH WILL CAUSE DELAYS FROM TIME TO TIME.
Appears to be a hell of a lot of hassle...........unless you live in Budapest (plus real price of journey is far more that posted if originating from UK)

I hear sirens; quick - the grammar police are doing a raid!
Someone help!!! I need to go to Bangkok on the 7th Jan 2013 and return from bangkok, vietnam or jakarta on the 5th Feb but cannot work out what I'm doing wrong... everything comes out at £1000+! Helppppppp!
Quickly skimming the HUKD deals I thought the thread said Bangkok and hookers !
very tempted by delhi but looking at it you need a visa and they say dont book any flights until you have your visa confirmed which takes at least a few days, so no good for these prices expiring tomorrow
Isn't this some kind of self promotion?

not sure how though!
