To all those slating off Dubai have you actually been there before? Or are you just going off of the stories that you're reckless mates have told you who do not know how to behave or the stories from daily mail lol.
Been around the Gulf a ton of times.

Don't swan around with the typical English sense of entitlement and you'll have a great time.
If the deals not for you or you rather go Ibiza and get smashed and have a hangover not remember your holiday then fine pls dnt comment and keep it moving
Thanks op been waiting for a good deal to come up. I lived in Dubai for over a year and loved every minute of it. Dubai is a lovely place to visit as long as you stick to the law you will be fine. Same as here in the UK break the law you pay the price

You can get cheaper flights to N.Korea... All flights must be booked in the month of Kimtober.
No return flights, you'll have to run across the DMZ!.

. How can I get a visa for umrah? I thought I have to go through a travel agent.
I lived in the Middle East, they don't make a habit of jailing westerners. In fact they don't want the hassle of good lawyers, foreign embassies, and bad press...however if you are stupid enough to try and live liberal western values in another country, and don't heed the warnings you typically get first, they will deal with you. It also depends on the time of year how tolerant they are, Ramadan walking down the street hand in hand with partners drinking a can of lager is a no no. The legal system is stacked in favour of the locals and then there is a gradient scale depending where you come from! Luckily, generally, westerners are near the top.

Too bad I already booked my trips from MAN - AUH. But will be returning to another European country after a month. All flights cost me GBP 360 on Turkish.
Lovely country - repressive government.
Never been. What would be good out there and is it expensive for a family of five?

Apply for Umrah visa from your local travel agent a 3/4 weeks before you travel.
I spent about 10 days in Dubai and had a good time overall - I won't be rushing back though.

There is clearly a great deal of intolerance just beneath the surface. The way I saw Emiratis treat other people was very distasteful. Seeing unhappy labourers they get in from other countries wasn't great either.

It's not always beneath the surface either. Walk to the huge book store in the Dubai Mall and you'll see plenty of globes with Israel tippexed out. If that isn't 0% tolerance then what is..

A bit deep for a deals site I know.. you just have to make your own mind up. I personally won't be going back and would advise anyone going not to have more than a couple of alcohol drinks when you're out.

Wrong forum bud - way too many keyboard warriors out there. Last I checked …Wrong forum bud - way too many keyboard warriors out there. Last I checked the post was the price of a trip to Dubai & Saudi and you expressing your opinion on the UAE. Been out there several years and thought I'd address the topic regarding DUBAI. You want to expand the topic and branch out to start talking about the UK? Cool - go start a forum/discussion or join one where its already started. Here's an idea lets keep to the topic/post at hand. Respond if you want keyboard warrior but don't expect a response

Lol. Like your style 'bud'. You continue to respond to comments not related to this deal, and whenever you get a challenging response you scurry into your 'I won't respond' mode.

Keep up the good work bud! You are indeed the very definition of a truly magnificent keyboard warrior - I admire your dedication. God speed and good wishes for the New Year.

OP - Although I don't have knowledge of whether this is a good deal, I voted hot for any inconvenience I caused

Is anywhere cheap anymore? UAE is pricey for sure - there are 2 things you need to do to save money out there

Buy a voucher book/ phone app called The Entertainer - lots of deals in there for restaurants - each restaurant within the book/app consists of 3 vouchers and all are buy 1 get 1 free deals. The book also has vouchers for activities. The books are chunky mind you so might be better to download the app.

The other thing to do is use the website called "Dubizzle" - ebay style - no auctions tho- just buy it now in person. People selling tickets to a lot of places at half price or 25% cheaper than RRP - Atlantis Water Park, LegoLand, IMG Adventures etc.

Have fun

I have been... it is a soulless concrete hole in the desert.
My guide told me many stories about its corruption, its criminal money background and the exploitation of the poor imported workers. You would have to be a complete fool to visit the place and still not see it for what it really is.

And yet people are still visiting this amazing "soulless" place. Damn we must put a stop to this agrocity!

I like how your source is your guide. I should just start believing everything The Daily Mail says then too.

Hard to disagree to be honest but is any place perfect? Didn't Britain rule the world once upon a time and enslave nations, be involved in the slave trade and rob countries of its material resources?

Wasn't the UK in the papers a few months ago as the largest money laundering country in the world for Russian Oil Barons and wealthy Chinese buying properties?

No-one and no country is perfect.

We've heard all the negatives so how about some positives:

1) Keep what you earn - no TAX on your salary.
2) Family orientated country - yes you can go out without worrying about racial discrimination or violence.
3) Excellent weather all year round
4) No acid attacks!

As for the UK:

1) Freedom
2) Free education & health
3) Employee rights
4) True integration into society and can become a British citizen

Once again this post is about visiting the UAE and Saudi and nothing more. Not sure why we can't just stick to the post to be honest.

That's an interesting view point, and let's use this same argument. How …That's an interesting view point, and let's use this same argument. How about we say those in the UK should live and act according to UK laws, and not try an impose their ways?I appreciate I've probably lit a blue touch paper. However, thinking rationally like this is always popular.

If you break the law and are caught then don't cry when you are sent to jail. That applies to the UK as well as the rest of the countries in the world.

If you are implying that non white British citizens break the law and don't respect it then I totally agree with you that they should be jailed if they are found guilty. However to dress differently, not want to drink alcohol and eat porky pies and practice a different faith is not a crime the last time I checked.

Pleading ignorance when visiting a different country that has a different culture and set of laws is not an excuse.

Shame it's not Saudi 1st, do Umrah 1st then stay over in Dubai on way back. Cracking deal nonetheless.

This is possible too for about the same price
Everyone is entitled to their opinion even if you are a Stephen Yaxley-Lennon aka Tommy Robinson minion but this is a DEALS website/app not reddit, twitter or facebook.
People interested in the deal shouldn't need to go through all the garbage some of you who have never been there are coming out with. Stay on topic!
Good deal. Been to Dubai with family last year. Safest place on earth. Plenty of ex pats out there. Don't know what the commotion is about.
Such a good deal
I’m happy this deal has got hot.
