Viners sell quality cutlery and this seems a great deal to me

£149 down to £70 and then use code 50 precent to bring it down to £35 plus free delivery.

Dubarry cutlery is a classic design clearly showing the influence of furniture designer Thomas Chippendale. The decorative shape is reminiscent of many of his chair-back designs.

- Mirror finish
- Stainless Steel 18/0

This 100 piece Cutlery Set contains:

8 Dinner knives,
8 Dinner forks,
8 Dessert knives,
8 Dessert forks ,
8 Dessert spoons,
8 Soup spoons,
8 Teaspoons
4 Serving spoons,
8 Fish knives,
8 Fish Forks,
8 Pastry Forks,
8 Coffee spoons,
8 Grapefruit spoons

What is the quality of this company products?

sites down but good deal

I can Confirm that site is down, waiting to complete my order

Good going Champs, you've crashed their site oO

DDOS

are the fish forks the small plastic ones?
if so do you get a few different colours?

This is a super deal..

Thought it was my internet connection but site is down ;-(

Just to advise you guys, but I've not been that impressed with the items my dad has ordered for the family from Viners / Oneida through these deals recently. The cutlery was poorly finished and certainly not worth the RRP, and the less said about the pots and pans the better - I'm not snobby, but we don't cook a great deal using them and the non-stick coating is practically peeling away (never had this problem with our previous, almost antique Tefal non-stick cookware). Handles not great and the glass pan lid handles are even worse, almost falling to bits despite little use.

I'm not saying not to buy from them - but their RRP prices have been a joke for a while now on these deals, if you are expecting £149 cutlery I think you'll be disappointed.

Not voting either way as I can't guarantee this set will be the same, but wouldn't be surprised as it's the same kind of discounting seen on the 'flawed' items dad ordered.

Good deal, thanks.

The site is really struggling but I think my order has gone through, I got an email confirmation.

such a shame the site is down

Got these a couple of months ago for £25 + 10% quidco.

They arrived in a small cardboard box, each piece in a plastic bag.

Very nice finish on them, absolute steal at £22.50 regardless of the ridiculous RRP.

I have the 50 piece set of these, they're pretty nice.

You can really tell the difference between 18/10 and 18/0. If you are a fan of good cutlery, I highly recommend getting a 18/10 set

You cannot go wrong with Alessi branded.

I agree with other posters on the highly inflated RRP with these offers.

A few weeks ago I posted a deal for the 18/10 Mezzo set @ Viners which was £40. It was still £40 on Sunday when I checked again. Upon seeing this offer of 50% off I thought I'd check the Mezzo offer out again and low and behold the price has risen to £110! So even with the 50% off (which people will believe to be a real bargain) the Mezzo set will be £55. £15 dearer than it was before the sale started. So just be careful.

This offer for the Dubarry is quite good if you like the set. It is more designed for the 'older' person so if you're a young, modern type then this set won't suit you.

The Rattail set (which is very popular and modern and sells out quickly) is also priced at £70 reduced to £35 using the code and this is a good deal as it was priced at £45 on Monday which means that it too increased before the sale price but is now cheaper than it was on Monday.

Or the 58 piece Rattail 18/10 set is £70 in the sale which is a great price too.

I bought the Mezzo set too. Nice simple design with quality 18/10 stainless steal. I did exactly what you did and realised it would be £15 more if I were to purchase now. However, the only deal that may be worth it is the 18/10 Saffron set of 16 for £20 which gets reduced to £10 with the 50PERCENT code. You could by two of these, so a set of 32 for £20. Since it is only free delivery no orders over £25 (otherwise 3.99), it would be worth it to add a £5 piece, which ends up being £1.01 more due to the free delivery.

great deal, i was waiting till the january sale but guess i don't need to now. Ordered!

I bought 3x"Thermal carrier with baking dish 2.3L" for £6-7 each to keep my food warm when going picnic. Does it worth the money? Anyone bought it before? Otherwise I will cancel my order.

...Grapefruit spoons... oO

This is back in stock by the way...

anyone who ordered received their order?

I notice they have a new product now listed.

viners.co.uk/dub…tml - £100
Text for this item is based on this deal but name it has Silver Plated which they did not on this deal.

Very dubious about their stock and the way they describe / market the items.

Arrived today in a relatively poorly packaged in a wet box which was thrown over a 7 foot fence by Yodel leaving contents falling out, scratched on the floor and wet. Otherwise nice.
