To be honest it wasn’t worth it, apparently after 5 years or so the magnesium starts to fracture so even if you get them crack tested it’s not a guarantee that in 3 months or after a bad bump in the road they won’t disintegrate. Ideally you’d need to test them regularly which would be incredibly inconvenient and potentially expense so we just decided to play it safe and get dymag to make a new custom set. Expensive lesson but better safe than sorry after watching what happened to Robert Dunlop
Get them crack tested and if good use them for the track and buy a pair of Alu for the road. You could enquire at the engineering department of your local university if they have access to an x-ray unit or even your dentist if you are friendly to check for cracks. Biomotas are some of the best handling bikes in the world.
Cheapest v4 is 20k. This is a LTD Ed with extra bells and whistles. Different animal from the s1000rr
This is a LOT more expensive than an S1000RR with M package and carbon package. Is it because of its rarity?
