Not sure on the quality but a good price for duck pillows. Good for the guest bedroom I suppose if they are not as good as other pillows.

How anyone could sleep easy with their head on feathers stripped from a ducks corpse is beyond me.

Duck's corpse is one thing, perhaps worse when they're alive and suffering

Yeah it's hideous, unthinkable cruelty.

The down comes from Ducks that are raised for eggs, meat or foie gras.

Oh well that's alright then, if they've been force fed or forced to push out oversized eggs for their short lives! I'M BEING SARCASTIC.

No one said you have to be childish but you are. I was pointing out that much worse things happen to the animal and you only seem botherd about its feathers.

I'm clearly not bothered only by its feathers but the post is directly relating to feathers not foie gras, eggs or meat!!!

Thank you SashaHook for highlighting and bringing to attention another way of looking and thinking about something we take for granted, or think we need, or think that it's ok to have immaterial a living being's suffering.

You do know that our government are trying to back track on a animal abuse by saying that animals for food have no feelings? Get signing all the petitions if you really care! I think the pillows are a bargain for those who want this type of product.

Cracking sleep though...judt saying..

Personally I'd much rather make use of a waste product from food production (feathers) than have an environmentally damaging polyester pillow.

Are the duck feathers always waste, from slaughtered meat birds though?

You'd be quackers to miss this deal!!

Right, I tried to lighten this thread up - I'm off
