Lovely tasting marmalade, my favourite!
Not as good as Maribel from Lidl, and it's less than 50p all the time.
But is the Duerrs easier to spread than the Maribel - like spreading golf balls?

Never tried spreading golf balls, but haven't had a problem spreading Maribel.

Many scientists believe that excess fructose consumption may be a key driver of many of the most serious diseases of today. These include obesity, type II diabetes, heart disease and even cancer.

And they say exactly the same thing about sugar, which this product contains instead. There’s no clear evidence whatever that fructose (fruit sugar) causes more health issues than ordinary sugar.

Anyway, how much marmalade are you going to eat over the day?

This is unexceptional marmalade, with a lowish fruit content, bettered by Aldi and Lidl products sold at considerably lower prices.

For "many" read some and note, they say "excess". I doubt if a little bit of marmalade on my toast will be seen as excessive. They're speaking about the excessive amounts of consumption by the fizzy drinks and fast food consumers.

You might want to compare the nutritional information from Duerr's and

Maribel from Lidl. I'll stick with my 45p jars from Lidl, not because it's cheaper - it tastes better and has LESS sugar.
