This is only £4.99 on PSN / £5.28 on Xbox Store currently (digital). However, the physical release of the game was exclusive to GameStop US only. It appears Coolshop has some imported stock for sale. I bought the game on eBay before Christmas and costed me £30ish with import fees. Looking at eBay, prices are around £30-£88 and all are coming from the USA/Canada. Seems like a good opportunity, if you are into collecting physical media for the sake of their rarity, etc. Appreciate this may not satisfy the majority but I felt it is worth it be addressed.

Cheers! Had been looking to import for ages but thought the prices were a little too high, at 30-40 but this is perfect. Mixmixi always comes to the rescue

If I knew Coolshop would have this in stock I would have waited myself too. Glad it helps you at least mate.
Man I waited ages for this to come up on eBay over here and never happened. In the end got it imported for roughly the same price used. This is a great deal for what is a hard to find physical game here.

Thanks! Have it digitally on Xbox but the collector in me couldn’t resist
Just buy it digital it hasn't aged well.
£5 on psn so what is the point to get that?

Yes, and it is cheaper. I understand. But the whole point of putting this post together was to let people know about the physical version that is currently available without the hassle of going through importing.

The point is to help people who are looking to buy this. It appears it did help the first 3 people above.
It did seem an odd post at first to me because I'd already seen the price on PS. After reading through these posts though, I sort of agree with mixmixi posting it, for people wanting the disk version.
Strange to pay £20 when it's £5 digital. But, each to their own.

Because some people like physical copies on their shelves.

You can pick up an original copy of Duke Nukem 3D for the PC for about 30 quid. It's not an investment I'm about to make. "so for that reason alone, I'm out".

Duke Nukem PC was NOT an exclusive release. The physical version of Duke Nukem 3D was released only via GameStop. Horse and donkey are both looking the same, but you can only ride a horse to race... I’m not suggesting collecting DVDs will make you a rich person in the future, but there are certain stuff worth collecting for the sake of their rarity...

Wow! Well done on saying exactly the same thing as someone else. Also well done for missing my point in exactly the same way. What I mean is that you can pick up an original copy of the seminal game Duke Nukem 3D, in its original format and packaging for £30. If you genuinely think this anniversary copy in an unrelated format will become so sought after it will bring home the readies in years to come, be my guest! Buy a pallet load and store them in your vault next to your deeds to a couple of acres of land on Mars!

I have been into collecting rare/limited games and based on my experience the limited releases always gain value. I have a vita game that digitally can be had for £1-£2 but the physical copy I’ve got is the second rarest viva game worldwide, going for £250 you clearly have no experience because of the way you are talking. Original copy of duke is worthless because there are millions of it around, unless you’re looking for sealed copy which has gained value due to that.

I said the same thing because you clearly have issues with understanding.

As usual people like you then take you point to the extreme to mask the fact that you are trying to argue an arguement that isn’t there.

No one suggested buying multiple copies.

You clear dont understand about games collecting or what makes something collectible.

As someone who collects I can see how much of a bargain this is, for example I missed out on Limited Run Games release of Oxenfree, this can be liberally purchased under £5 on PSN but to get it via eBay physicaly it just goes up in price as time goes on.

Bought. I'm a collector so this is great for me after looking into import costs. Don't get why its so cold but there you go.
