Hail to the king, baby

Was just about to post this, probably the best digital price for this.

I know you said it's a steamworks game, but you should maybe explicitly state in your post that this will register on Steam.

Pretty sure it does register on steam.. says on site Needs a modern PC | Steam

If it's anything like Just Cause 2 which I bought a while back from them.. They provide a serial/key and then you go ahead, download it on Steam and use the serial/key they provided to activate and it becomes like any old Steam purchased game.

Gonna grab it tommorrow, so will comfirm if no one else has before then. Surprised this aint hotter by now tbh.

yea i assume that's what will happen. against my better judgement, i'm probably going to buy this when i get back from work later, so if i do i'll let you know

I had a go at this last night, when Steam finally let me run the copy I got that morning...

Things haven't really gotten going yet, after two hours in. I'd say it's definately more enjoyable if you still have fond memories of Duke 3D as there are a lot of knowing nods to that game. What little shooting action I've seen hasn't impressed me at all, and the interaction with scenery (one of the real standout things about Duke 3D back in the day) feel very... forced.

Highlight at the moment was mucking about on the pinball machine. I think I spent nealy half my playtime on that alone before moving on

It's terrible real disappointment. Been waiting since '96 for this sequel

xbox 360 version sucked balls.
linear game , poor sound/graphics and to much FMV that you cant skip ~__~

and worst of all , xbox360 loading times - seems about 1/2 a min every time it loads something.grrr!

lol I wasnt expecting this to be a game worth buying to be honest. This game should have died in development hell, but it had more lifes than a cat.

Expectations were very high and have to say it's average. Tons of detail in it (all the light switches and taps work, working pinball machines and microwaves!?) and similar humor to the original, but just an average game ...saying that, for around £20 it's good value for what you get (beats the price of a ticket, popcorn and drink at my local cinema!).

Likewise - have started a thread in misc. I bought it for less than I can trade it in for...

Sadly the PC version LOOKS EXACTLY like the console versions... even on 1080p with detail at ultra it looks like a very old dx9 game, it's not all bad, the creatures look well modeled but the rest looks like it was designed for 800x600 res, shame as fun as the humour etc may be, gonna wait for the sub £10 sale

I'll probably wait to buy it when it goes cheap, looks like it'll be a laugh though.

It's like they finished it just to get people to stop talking about it never being released, it's really terrible.

Looks like it won't be going head to head with Serious Sam 3 or F.e.a.r. 3 then?

Highly unlikely - will still be no 1 seller this week though on anticipation.

Sh!t game. **** graphics. Linear gamplay. It might have been a ground breaker 10 years ago. They would have to pay me £30 to play it.

NEVER meet your hero. Loved D3d, but will not be playing this

WTF with all the blur stuff knackering my eyes actually feel sick playing this game and since when does a power cut stop sun light =/. Worse game I've played in years id rather play duke 3d again such a shame wait till its £2 but even then prepare to get ripped. Within 5 mins the game just falls completely flat on its face then you start to see all the cracks.

Instead of making a good exclusive game on one platform they rushed it for three and to be honest I doubt it will do them any favours as they are now known for ruining one of the most iconic characters in gaming.

Actually reminds me of Daikatana

Just ordered a key from Getgamesgo for a friend and it does not activate.

Bought from here instead for 4p less.
