What's the normal price of this stuff

Original Poster

supposedly £29

Cold these were £5 a couple a days back bought 2

Good Price. They had the same price last year. I got few and the quality was good.

It ends on the 31st May

Got nearly four of these for that price, the last bank hol.

lol....

blast, bought some from Homebase today - 2.5litres for £15 or something for their own brand

Bought some on offer in Wilko recently, was like water! I couldn't use it

On one hand good news, good offer. On the other hand wife says we are decorating the hall this weekend.

How long will it take to watch this dry?

Don't waste your money, but the trade version of dulux - much better coverage and more resistant to wear. From experience of house returns

How much do I need to paint the box room up?

Get 5 tins, that will be enough if you run out you can always go back for more.

Seriously, if it's the normal size room big enough for a bed and wardrobe 1 tin will be enough.

£17 at asda but at original price B&Q rip off with over price

B&M have 1/2 price tins crown paint on offer ,better than dulux.

maybe a reason for this is there trying to push valspar(replaced the onsite mixed dulux last autumn) and wondering if there running down there dulux stock

Sure these are £15 in Wilko's?

I'd agree with the comments above - the trade dulux is far superior. I bought trade Matt emulsion and it covered fresh plaster brilliantly, no need for a second coat. It's currently £32 for 10litres but if you buy other brands you will do 2 or 3 coats so works out the same price.
There is also a promotion on Akzo noble products at the min (dulux polyfilla etc) that gives you £10 cashback for a £30 spend by redemption, I had a leaflet but I'll try and post a link

here is a link to the leaflet, I simply got the guy on the till to put my paint thru in batches of £30. cashback is 1 claim per household, I used relatives addresses to make multiple claims with each separate receipt.
hope this helps

"send this original promotional leaflet from store along with your original itemised till receipt dated in the
promotional period"

Without the original leaflet, the claim is likely to get rejected. Which store did you get the leaflet from? Has your cashback been paid?

iSceptical

I got the leaflet from a northwest diy chain called rightway but my brother said he'd seen them in another independent diy store

I agree trade paint is much better , i have asked two pro painters and they use the trade paint

I just phoned B&Q about the Wilko price of £15 for the 10l brilliant white and they price matched. so no need to visit Wilko, just get B&Q to deliver it for free
