Homebase have Dulux paint on offer at the moment where you get 5 litres for the price of 2.5 litres.

5 litres of Matt and silk emulsions are now £19.99 instead of £34.99 (and the endurance range £24.99 instead of £39.99).

We used Dulux matt emulsion in Barley White for our kitchen and it is a lovely colour, was easy to use and wears well.

The offer includes coloured emulsions, excludes Pure Brilliant White and Dulux Trade. Also includes Dulux MixLab and the discount is applied when you pay

Found out in store when we needed some more Barley White matt emulsion to touch up the walls after installing a new boiler. The paint was out of stock on the shelves and the helpful lady said the offer went live today and wasn't shown on the shelves yet, and even better that there was stock in the back!

Also had a £2 off £20 voucher from the Homebase loyalty card, which is worth signing up for.

It's lovely paint, you can't really go wrong!

I noticed that their endurance range is included too but £5 extra, but the matt and silk emulsions are £19.99.

Happy painting!

Ahaha the cheeky grin he has, 'wasn't me!' X)

sickly sweet, thanks for posting. Great offer, I'll probably go for the Once emulsion as I don't have the patience to do two coats. I can't find anything on the Homebase website about their loyalty card. Is it Nectar you are referring to? thks

Brilliant deal sweets, and even better picture X) Kind of reminds me of the time my daughter got hold of the sudocrem X)

Hmm. I'll have to check tomorrow, it may be nectar, but from memory the letter in the post comes direct from Homebase. They send vouchers etc every 2 or 3 months, and good vouchers too (not random ones or with ridiculously high minimum spends).

The receipt says it's a 'Homebase voucher'

I'll do some digging tomorrow and see if I can find out more, but I think maybe it is nectar...remind me if I forget!

Thanks for taking the time to check. I think it is Nectar. I don't shop there much, so I occasionally get the odd '250 points on your next purchase' offer.

I love the photo of the toddlers. It reminds me of earlier today when I was stirring magnolia paint on an empty stomach. I was seriously tempted to scoop some out with my hand!

I'm amazed so many people are up at 3am. I'm browsing through the paint colours - Chic Shadow is current favourite.

fat lamb chic shadow is lovely I've just done my kitchen in it, odd but worked really well.

Lol love the picture ironic he didn't get any on the walls

I have used chic shadow before. It was a lot very colour and was so easy to paint the walls. I would highly recommend

Reminds me when my boys were younger X)

Heat simply for the pic.

emmar2007 and Zaky_ice, thanks for the feedback. It's always good to get some reassurance before buying, as you can never be sure of the colour from looking at a computer screen. Sorry to go a bit off-topic, but what colour did you both do your matching skirting? I'm trying to use up old paint and have some Blueberry Satinwood (a type of powder blue).

isnt this the same as getting 3 for 2 at wickes and / or 2 for £40 @ Wilkos

Good spot, and even better maths! With Homebase though, you can buy just 5L which is more than enough for me. With Wilko you'd need to buy 10L, and 7.5L at Wickes. For the paint I want, the price per litre works out slightly more at Wickes. They do have the 3 for 2 offer on a wider range, such as Bathroom+, although it would be some bathroom that required 7.5L of paint! Still, good to know for people that can't get to a Homebase.

I used it in my sons bedroom, we were renting so couldn't do much. Shirting boards where pure white colour. I might have a pic, as we no longer live there.

This works out fantastically for us as we only needed one pot of a single colour.
Those are probably better for people who want multiple colours or are doing a whole house up.

Thanks everyone for helping fatlamb out and being so helpful and lovely. I love it when a thread works so well.

Here's a thank you for being so awesome:

Here, have some heat just for that pic

Witness it people, this is a thread where people are getting along just fine, there is harmony here. It can happen even on Hotukdeals forum. Who'd have thought paint would bring people together.

Looks like a good deal, does anyone know when it will expire?

Nooooo. I've just spent a week painting everything in my new house... And I bought the paint from homebase
