please be aware this is not diamond, diamond is the trade version and is about twice as expensive as "endurance" and worth every penny. This is still a great price but is not the same as dulux diamond

good find op, heat added

Bought this when it was posted a couple of years ago. Got 8 tins for £7.43 each. Did downstairs hall, staircase and upstairs hall in it and some left to spare!
Really hard-wearing and looks as good 2 years on as when we applied it!

I have just used the endurance on my dining room following the promotion a few weeks ago and I am not very impressed with the endurance aspect, it has come off the wall where a chair has rubbed against it, seems to have peeled off rather than scratched .. not a happy bunny

I was going to use this stuff when doing the house, but the reviews really put me off so just got the normal Dulux paint. It was not that good, picture framing effect with the grey colour I used. How did you find the endurance stuff went on from the roller? Reviews said it was quite sticky.

It was really thick, the surface we painted onto was wallpaper which was a little bit textured so we didn't get a fully smooth finish. Having said that though the finish was like sandpaper before painting and very smooth after. It used to hurt brushing against the wall but now it's fine!
The coverage seemed really good compared to others as we could've got away with 2 thicker coats but did three as we had so much for little cost.
My wife was sold on endurance after the experience and said it knocked other paint out of the park.

Thanks. The painters in the trade seem to hate this stuff. Apparently it is the poor mans version of the trade 'Daimond' paint. But good to know you were happy with it. Maybe your wall texture suited it.

Yeah I think that's a really good observation. We haven't used endurance again since then because it's been kitchen and bathroom painting which needs kitchen and bathroom paint. We bought some more endurance in timeless, which we will use on a regular wall so it will be interesting to see what our thoughts are of it on that application.

Did you have a good surface to paint onto? I.e. sand off any sheen from the previous paint. Wash the wall with sugar soap.
We've scratched, scuffed, knocked the wall over the course of two years and it goes back to looking perfect with a wipe of a cloth.

mmm probably not ... it was re-plastered about two years ago and just had emulsion paint on it, it did go on thickly and the rest of the room is fine but I wasnt impressed with the way it literally peeled off where the chair bumped it, maybe expecting too much but it did come off extremely easily.

Classic indication that the new plaster was not prepared properly before painting. Plaster needs time to dry, and first coat of paint should be a very diluted mist coat. Putting undiluted paint on to new plaster will inevitably lead to it peeling off. Just google it and you will get my drift.

Was done before we moved in but sounds about right as the rest of the plastering they did just drops off when panting it

is this 4k or only 1080p. might wait till 4k drops to this price
