How much!? 750 ml of paint?

I appreciate Dulex paint is way better than other brands, but 8,47 for 750ml of paint is a joke!
cheers just got one,added heat:)
They cost over £30 on their own - so looks like a bargain to me...!
Bought 5 litre of emulsion £19 good deal, was after one of these.
this deal has been around for ages...I got one 4 weeks ago......worth the money for the paint to get the pod free

I presume you can only use the special Pod paint though with this, (which of course you pay a premium for.)

I only suggested this as it was the cheapest paint, someone may want to purchase the pod for £8.47 even if they don't need the paint.

Only need to buy the PaintPod paint once, wash the tub out fill with your choice of paint and away you go..

Depending what brand you use, you MAY need to water down slightly, paintPod paint is quite watery.

Word of warning, pain in the backside for painting a ceiling as the handle is quite heavy and you can't use an extension pole, so have to use a small step ladder which of course means getting off to move as you go around the room.

Makes short work of painting walls though, a lot faster than traditional roller & tray.

Thanks OP - Ordered.
Have some heat from me.
Thanks for this, I have an entire house to paint so this I just what I was looking for
Does anyone have any experience of how good these paint pods are?
YOU WILL ONLY USE IT ONCE BE WARNED
Got this a couple of months ago, offers been on ages start of June. Will probably never use the paint pod.
been told by mum it makes painting easier....anything that does that is fab in my book.
Ordered, thanks OP

Why ?

As my previous comment I wouldn't advise using for ceilings unless you had a decent raised platform to use, as getting off/on a stepladder is a pain as you can't use an extension pole with it, and the handle is quite heavy.

But for painting the walls of my house I'm about to sell it been no probs and I found it a lot faster than a normal roller & tray as you don't have to stop to dip the roller into the tray.

I used the original 5ltrs white matt PaintPod paint, and have since been using normal (not trade) Dulux white matt in the PaintPod 5ltr tub, mixed at roughly 4/1 paint/water.

looks like there are 2 versions of paint pod? this is the compact one i think? (cheaper one?)
it comes with 6 duracell AA batteries, if u need paint its worth getting for the free batteries, i cut the roller off mine and used that too
i have used one of these and didn't think much of it.
works better with an adaptor plugged into it but still puts the paint on so thin u need to go over it again and again.
Great deal ordered mine for collection just wish I'd of known about it last week! Heat added cheers!!
Already posted as i got one a couple of months back and to the people complaining i found it great i painted my lounge ceiling in around 45 minutes and there was no mess at all and it was perfect, the only problem i had is that cleaning it took nearly as long as the job but i will defiantly use it again as it was easy and very clean.

How unfair oO
Got one a few months ago, and wasnt to keen on using it after a few reviews I had looked at , but it was great , Nice and easy great finish and even quite easy to clean
It's a false economy. The paint pods haven't been great sellers so they're getting rid of stock. I don't think they're very good but I haven't used one myself so not speaking from experience, just what I've read online. The paint is vastly overpriced so really you're paying a fiver for the paint pod because 750ml of white gloss isn't worth £8.47. I only worked all this out after buying 20 of them to sell on eBay. I only just broke even. There were a couple of one-offs where bidders got silly and they went for £20, and at the other end of the scale too - quite a few sold for less than £5. They cost a lot to send (£7.40 with royal mail) so people don't want to bid much for them.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the finish when I bought one of these earlier in the year. It is quicker than a roller but I found the paint too thin and had to re-paint the room in no time.
Great price though if you are happy to give it a go!
Using this is still gonna be a hassle and take a long time. especially for ceiling etc. you can get a PAINT SPRAYING SYSTEM which does the job a lot quicker and easier. heres a video: youtube.com/wat…ted

these can be picked up pretty cheap on ebay etc
I think it should be noted that much like the last time this deal was on, this is the Paint Pod compact, which If memory serves (could be wrong) doesn't run off the mains and doesn't have the auto-wash feature. Just in case anyone was thinking of selling it on for profit :P
when you order do you have to add the paint pod to your cart or is it automatically added when you buy paint.
Thanks for the update. just bought one as i have been wanting one to do my decorating. just bought the gloss and got the pod free! Already have the paint as i had the paintpod machine but broke and when returned never had any left.
amazing machine . decorates your house mess free... well the actuall paintpod machine did lets just hope the compact just the same.

hi i added it to my basket and it corrected the offer for me once i went to checkout
This offer never stopped even though the previous deal got expired!

Heard that these block up easily when not used for ages, which is why ive held off buying one.
Tempted but so many comflicting reports on these things. But for £8.47 it seems a nice price
By all means get this deal if the paint pod is what you want and you can't buy one cheaper stand-alone. Then do yourself a favour and ditch the paint.

Having seen first-hand how fast Dulux Brilliant White Gloss turns yellow (in weeks!!!) I won't touch their White Gloss again. Their paint composition has been changed and the problems are now being widely reported on the internet. There are no smokers in my house, and yet the paint looks like it has been subject to fifty years of smoking - seriously p****d off with Dulux.

I've only just found out about this problem and now have a load of redecorating to do

Here's a recent link about the problem for the doubters amongst you:
