Der sorry should have read it properly !! Yeh did see that advertised today !

YUP! HOT HOT HOT! I got mine 2 days ago. But I've not had time to post a thread on this...sorry guys. I've been plastering for the first time and it's been a nightmare! So not had time

Can you use any other sort of paint or are you trapped into using Paint Pod stuff. Range seems a bit limited. I managed to pick one up at Homebase. Same free deal. B&Q had sold out, but one of the boxes at Homebase had the buy any Dulux product and get the Paint Pod for free. The tester pot was 93p. What a bargain. They also pushed the £5.98 3 year accidental breakdown cover. Seemed silly not to take it. Now to get some paint that works.

I have heard, once you have brought the the paintpod paint the paint tub can be used again using any other paint adding water if necessary. Have yet to try it out myself though.

Focus have the paint at half price, works out at £15 each. They don't have some of the colours that B&Q have but if they have yours, good saving. Saw this in-store (Kingswinford) yesterday. All Paintpod items were half price, the machine was £25.

Is the Paintpod machine any good?

In my opinion no, the paint has to be thin to function, so you are likely to use more.

Use a good quality roller, you will have the job done while you are messing around with these things.

Ever seen a decorator use one?....I haven't.

so do any of u think paint will decrease in cost over bank holiday weekend or increase?

5 litres of emulsion (Crown, Dulux etc) for around twenty quid is a normal price.

The paintpod range is very limited but at least at this price you aren't getting ripped of for a "dedicated" paint. At full price it's a complete rip-off though.

Somebody needs to donate a Paintpod to the Science Museum as this system won't be around for much longer ;-)

Lol like there's any free PaintPods left!
Most had gone by Friday afternoon X)
