Amazing price for the full system, I paid this price just for the compact one last year.

With the Dulux Paint Pod Roller System painting has never been easier, faster or cleaner. The Roller System uses paint which is specially formulated. The Matt emulsion comes in an unique pack, which just drops into the Dulux Paint Pod Roller system. This easy-to-use paint pod is self cleaning, featuring an integrated cleaning system that automatically cleans the roller sleeve and paint pod unit. It also features an edging kit combined with a unique triangular brush making light work of cutting in and filling corners. Transform any room with freshly painted walls using this unique roller system. Easy, fast and even cleans itself.

No... need to use paintpod paint with it.

Cleaning itself is the only thing it does well. I've had one for a few years now - I much prefer using a standard roller with long pole.

Do these things work?

Check my other post for the paint at an astounding price.

Once you get the knack, it works very well.

I have one and have had no problems with it. Done my living room and kitchen in about 2 hours. Then left it to clean

If you can't collect from store (or don't want to) you can buy From netpricedirect on eBay for £16.95 delivered. I really am tempted to buy one of these but I never feel these gadgety type things every really work very well.

I would love to hear the opinions of those who have used one these

Bad concept , don't waste you money - who would want one of these for a Christmas presant .

these have been universally derided for the last five years. why on earth would anyone still vote it hot?

Because this is a website for the cheapest price, not if you think something is any good or not

But the comments suggest that its a waste of money - thats why some people are voting cold, and some are writing negative opinions about this item.
Yes the price is good when You compare to normal price, but even at that price its a waste of money (well it is for me)

We have had one since just after they came out. We love it, it has saved us hours in labour time. The edging brush alone should get a design award. It took only about 3 hours to do our hall stairs and landing and its not tiny. Was due to buy a new dip tube for ours but have just bought this deal for just an extra £6.
For me this is an excellent deal , thanks OP

wish you could use normal paint on this?

Terrible device. If you need one of these, probably best you leave the painting to someone else.

Christmas Present, Christmas Pheasant or Christmas Peasant

Surely these are being discontinued . However cheap I can't see why people would bother with this over proper trade paint and a decent roller. almost universally these things have been derided. from the machine clogging up to the paint being rubbish and needing half a dozen coats to provide a reasonable finish.

if you have to paint a room many times more than over using proper decent trade paint that only needs a couple of coats it really is a false economy in terms of cost but also wasted time and effort.

I can't speak for everyone but I painted a magnolia room white using a compact roller system and it took two coats. Pain was cleaning the tubes as my one isn't self cleaning.

Waste of time and money,i did try to use it last year for about 15min and end up with normal roller.Didn't even try the self cleaning mode, straight in to the bin.Believe me,you can do it much quicker with normal roller.

Thr Freecycle Network is run by an American control-freak called Deron Brown. Be aware that there are indepenent freecycling groups around that are generally bigger and better than the clone groups greaded by Deron Beal and his acolytes.

I would recycle it but You should not recycle something that is useless.

That would give somebody else the opportunity to discover that rather than buying yet another one to then throw away!

HOT HOT HOT love ours, no re-stopping to recharge the roller, no drips, really easy to clean

that's not how I use it. I read all the comments - the intelligent ones help me decide whether something is a waste of money, no matter how big the reduction

Great things, brought the compact one on hot deals. Painted the house in one day and no mess. Paint is a bit pricey.

Normally it is, last time I bought some it was from the range £20 for 5 litres, currently HB have it for £8.99!

Love mine and bought one of these rather than the expense of a new head tube n corner brush! Best way to paint ever
