Perfectly fine for ceilings. Depends what a small room is. And what colour the walls are already. I'd say 2 cans should be more than enough

Did you try scanning it or are you just going off the shelf label?
I actually went and scanned it. Still full price unfortunately.

This is almost transparent! You’ll want three coats

Well I’ve just done 6 rooms with this stuff and wish I hadn’t bought it in bulk in advance as it’s shockingly thin. Previous owners of this house were smokers and this took three coats to get the yellow tint off this ceilings evenly as is so thin. I’m a big dulux fan but this is the worst product of theirs I’ve ever bought

Looks like there are different batches of this if some find it thin. I bought 5 litres from B and Q and it's like jelly. Certainly not thin. I have also bought 5 litres from Asda so will see what that's like when I open it. I made a big mistake once by buying a 10 litre crown emulsion that was on offer at b & q. I still had a 5 litre tin of the exact same product. The two tins were identical apart from size. The paint however was not the same. The large offer paint was like water. Sometimes a bargain isn't a bargain. It took 4 coats to cover a magnolia wall and 6 coats to cover a light blue wall. I only ever buy branded paint but sometimes question if offer paint is a actually a bargain. I will know tomorrow when I open a dulux colour emulsion that was on offer recently.

This stuff is fine as a base coat - to cover a wall before a colour change, or a little more watered down is fine for new plaster.
Not so good for a finishing paint - go with one of the better ones for that such as Once or Easycare unless you want to be doing a lot of coats.
Great price though if you can get it in your local.
This is Brilliant deal 🚀
This was full price in Barking. Didn't scan it though! Seems prices are not consistent when it comes to reductions.

You should always use matt on the ceiling, a 5 litre tin should be able to do a small box room with 2 coats, if you can get it at that price buy 2 and you're still getting a bargaian.

If you got the yellow off after 3 coats you're doing ok.
This was reduced from £25 to £15 in Hayes store. Shame!
