Dulux smooth and creamy Rich Matt offers unique colour protection in a wipe-clean matt finish which minimises imperfections and gives the most contemporary effect. It is protected by Colourguard formulation with an invisible protective layer that locks colour to your walls. £9 odd if you yhave a trade card not sure if vat included on trade price though but good price anyway

12 quid in Wilkinsons. My mistake,,the price in Wilkinsons is incredibly

2.5 litres - £11.97
5.00 litres - £12.00
10.00 litres - £26.97

Go figure that out.

No mate white is the cheapest to make but all the standard colours 2.5L, 5L & feature wall are 3 for 2 cheapest item free

Matt is far cheaper than silk to make :-)

The Crown paint there selling is watery rubbish. Just bought a 10 litre tub of it from a local shop a few days ago for £10.99 and its leaves patches and streaks in many places even after 2 coats. I'm only using it on plain white decorative effect lining paper. A friend of mine just bought the Crown earliy yesterday from B&Q and found it to be the same, having to apply 3 coats to walls that had previously been white. Can't comment on the Dulux though.

As a decorator of 20 plus years I can honestly say you have no idea what you are talking about. I use the Crown from B&Q for £10 over the £40 Dulux trade white, ask any proffesional decorator & they will tell you Dulux trade 'flashes' on a flat ceiling or flat walls (leaves streaks in paint) the Crown does not,it also covers perfectly acceptably if you apply it right, believe me I wouldn't be using it if it didn't, if you are getting streaks in this paint it is the quality of the equipment you are using that is the problem not the paint.

I've found the Crown 10l tubs to be perfectly good. I use it watered down on fresh plaster, jobs a goodun.

also just another thing they are doing the crown 5ltr colour ranges for £13.99 instead of £27.00 odd might help some people think its only for 4 days but seems good if you know your colour choice.

I bought two tins of this yesterday but my trade point card did not take anything from it.

Still paid £12.23

Thanks, picked up 2 tubs today.
