Excellent. My wife asked for something silk for Xmas. Better late than never.
White?

Shame, as I'm off to paint the town red!

I'm no expert , but if your looking for a low cost quality paint I recommend Leyland trade, u can get a big tub in screwfix for about £15-20.

Out of interest why have you found it to be bad? And what paints have you found to be better? I've always found it to be ok but maybe I'm not aware of better paints.
This should be funny when the parcel gets slung over the gate !

Errr... I ordered some bathroom stuff off amazon, despite the lid being taped up and in a bag it still popped the lid..... what they do is place the paint/oil/beer/liquid in a box and put paper on top.... Durrr....

If its ceilings or a tidy up job, try amstead contract matt, dulux decor centres sell it 13.99plus vat for 10l tub, it goes for miles, and will cover better than this coloured water mush, white and magnolia
dulux centres will sell to anyone, they will possibly deliver free locally if you ask.
Its what the trade painters use, far cheaper than dulux trade and its all pretty good gear across the amstead trade range, covers well in fewer coats etc, try it you wont go back to retail dulux.

The trade leyland is ok, but a bit chalky and soft compared to the amstead contract matt, its a far superior product for roughly same money, at ddc centres, 14 plus vat 10l. word of warning be vary if apply contract emulsion over old silk paint it can go croc skin /crack once it drys, you should really use a vinyl matt over old silk
