Dulux trade weathershield smooth masonry paint in magnolia or white 7.5l. Just bought this in-store but offer is available on-line too. This is a saving of £6, so seems a good deal to me and just what I was after.

Here's the science bit!

It contains a fungicide to inhibit mould growth on the paint film and help it stay cleaner for longer. It is particularly suitable for use in changeable weather and is shower resistant in only 30 minutes after application.

This is top quality stuff
Gonna get warm in here!

thanks, just what I'm after

Good stuff and I've been using it for years but you'll need to decant as this is too large to use from the end of a ladder.

For anyone on a budget aldi have a 5L tub for £6.99, which isn't to bad!

I prefer sandtex over this.

Another 10% off with trade discount, seems good

Would this be ok for use inside on brickwork? Turning the garage into a gym and want to brighten it up a bit, white paint seems a good idea.

Aldi were selling "weather shield" masonry paint 5 litres for £6.99 For the price the above are asking you would expect it to include labour to do the job !

yes i gather that lol

from wickes site

Do you offer a discount to the trade?

Wickes does not offer discounts to trade as our products are set at the lowest possible prices already. However, we do run regular 'Buy Bulk & Save' offers on products regularly used by tradesmen including cement, timber and plasterboard. If you can find an equivalent product cheaper elsewhere we offer our Price Promise!

To be fair I don't think you can compare Aldi with Dulux!

My friend does have trade account and receives monthly email with 10% discount code on all purchases over £10. This goes on top of any bulk buy and sales offers. I ask him to send me a picture of that mail shot and simply show it on my phone in store. Works every time, no questions asked.
