Agree on the prices, but i wanted a colour that was only available from going to a homebase to have the colour mixed that would have cost me more than the difference/delivery to get to never mind back home
As said above, prices online at Dulux and Dulux Decorators' Centres are absolutely shocking. There are times of the year when they run decent offers, but having browsed their site for what I need in the last week, they literally want 25-100% more than Wickes, Travis etc for straightforward products (Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt 10l Pure Brilliant White £66.67 inc VAT vs £42 everywhere, or £32 at Homebase if buying 3). Armstead Trade Vinyl Matt 10l I bought from them for £24 inc VAT in December; they now want £40.
Hot if you need stuff that's hard to find but freezing for anything sold elsewhere. I remember the time I walked in to a decorator centre to buy some satinwood and ended up getting it from Screwfix in the same industrial estate for £5 cheaper per tin. Might be good for stuff like woodstain or dryglaze MP.
B&Q and Wickes have a very limited range of colours though compared to the Dulux website. If you want less popular colours, it's a good place to get smaller tins from. For bigger tins, it's usually cheaper to get Diamond paint mixed up somewhere.
Prices are much higher than elsewhere. For example, 2.5L of easy care paint is £29.81 on Dulux website. It's only £19.15 on Amazon In wickes & b&q, it's £32 for a 5L can....£50.75 direct from Dulux. ...hard to see free delivery as much of a bargain when the prices are extortionate to begin with! Sorry, cold from me
