There seem to be a lot of deals being posted here recently for random no-name slippers for a couple of quid less than these. I've had a pair of Dunlop slippers very similar to these for years. I've worn them so much I've replaced the insoles twice, but the rest of the slipper is going great (I recommend lambswool insoles for extra comfort).
I think it's worth paying a tiny bit more for a quality product that will last forever.
Also, there are some in a different style for £10 here. Don't worry, they also have elasticated gussets!

I did buy another model of Dunlop slippers for myself but had to give them to my brother as they come up a size smaller. Ordered a uk10 but fits a uk9.
