Rubbish bike at a rubbish price

BSO

The cheapest mountain bike that's not complete rubbish is the Decathlon Rockrider 5.0 for £99. Anything else new at this price is a waste of money.

The Rockrider is still cheap, but a) it's decent enough for occasional use, b) it will be properly set up by Decathlon, c) if it breaks, it can be fixed if you take it back to Decathlon, and d) it won't be a rusty heap of junk 6 months after you've bought it.

Because it's ****.
It's great that the Tour Due France and Olympics are making cycling popular, but crap bikes like this will put off a rider who could have potentially become an avid cyclist.

There, fixed it. Works better if you visualise a middle manager doing the 'bunny ears' quotation thing.
