Just remember to book and pay for on line. I went to our local Kwik-Fit and wanted to purchase 4 Dunlops for my car and they told me it was over £320. The guy there told me to go home and pay on line and it was £240.

I have these on my car (came factory fitted by VW) - I was concerned the sidewalls felt soft but my front tyres did 26,500 miles and still had a couple extra mm's left on them (I changed them for winter).... so wear on a front wheel car isn't bad compared to others I've had over the years. Just Tyres were a similar price per tyre when I recently checked.
will check these out, thanks op

The sidewalls are soft but it wasn't too bad a drive. I much prefer the Continental Premium Contacts 5 I have now but I drive pretty reasonably these days
Normal price pretty much. 57-60 from f1.

Yes they handle OK but they're not the best I've had but at least a gentle kerb bump doesn't seem to trash the tyre like it does on some soft walled tyres I've had on other vehicles.
Worst tyres I ever had will stick to michelin s
And with Kwik Fitup they wi no doubt find other problems with your car for free....shock absorbers leaking WD40.....screwdriver sized holes in your exhaust.......etc....

How have u found them so far.

I have 2x same Goodyear in XL bought 4 years ago and did not come to need it. I have also recently bought 2 falken XL tyres from eBay deal, the Goodyear feels a little lighter and softer than the falken. I have yet to have them changed yet, will do so in the new year.

Initially my car felt heavy. Now, it's much better. Even in rain, I don't fear driving at 75mph on the motorways knowing that my Goodyears have a good stopping distance.

One of them got punctured last week due to a screw somewhere on the road. Rest are going strong.

Your goodyear's are comfortably better than these Dunlops imho, if they can be had around the same price it's better value.. Personally, regardless of the price I wouldn't tough Kwik-Fit with a barge pole. Not proper mechanics that undergo full sales training with heavy targets. Not what you want from a place you want to trust. Each to their own though.

My old man went in a few months ago after ordering a tyre online, they fitted a completely different tyre and tried to make out that everything was fine as it was from the same manufacturer despite creating a situation where he had different tyres on the same axel. Anyone that knows anything about tyres knows it's unsafe to do this. This means that they either knew and didn't care as they had a different one in stock, or are so incompatent they didn't know. Either way it's a frightening situation.

I have heard similar stories about Kwikfit. I went for an MOT and they failed me on numerous questionable failures, so I have been on the receiving end too.
But, when it came to these tyres, I was impressed with my branch. They even found a civigaitor (?) leak and and asked me to come back another day while the part came and fixed it for free. This branch was in an industrial area where every shop had something to do with cars - tyres, bodyshops, etc. Maybe that's why they were on top of thier game?
FUN FACT : Did you know Mr. John Dunlop invented the tyre ?

Did you pay them for the part? (which they likely made a hefty profit on to compensate for the 'free' fitting) Finding 'leaks' when fitting tyres is exactly the Kwik-Fit MO and exactly what I'm talking about.

I'll be damned
These wear out quite quickly from what I've read. I guess the rubber is softer than average to achieve that A wet rating.
These were the best handling tyre on my Mazda 6 but wore out quick. The Goodyear efficient grip is a good tyre. Excellent wet grip on both.

I have a different car now running 235/50/18 so not cheap and Kwik fit are the cheapest for Pirelli all season tyre. Thought I would give them a try as they seem quite popular on a Kuga. £211 for two lol. They won't be finding anything wrong on my car.
