I think you've got your brands mixed up... Goodyear/ Dunlop are the tyre manufacturer, SD own the Dunlop Sports, ie tennis balls, and other poorly made sports wear.

Hmm why is it only this size?

Did you ask yourself why only one of the tyres has gone down so quickly ? Better check wheel alignment before wasting money for new tyres...

I'm looking for 195/60/15 for similar price. Can anyone help?

If the tyres were at fault then they would both have worn evenly. Check your tyre pressures and wheel alignment. Was it even wear, just at one side, just the centre or just the edges?

This.
Wheel alignment is obviously out.

Try TYRELEADER web site, 3days to deliver but you will need to pay a local garage about £10 to fit.

seriously good price paid 249 fitted for 4 2 weeks ago gutted lool

For other sizes, oponeo, mytyres, blackcircles, camskill and amazon are worth a look - some just do tyres which you'll have to get fitted locally and others do all inclusive prices.

Also, don't rule out kwikfit, as some of their prices booked online are as good as any others you'll get.

Tyreleader is very often the cheapest with huge choice even less popular tyre sizes

Agree with other posts. I've run these for a few years and get 20k + from the fronts. I usually pay around £50 fitted so this is a bargain

What's the usual price for a garage to fit these?

And another thing, does the code work for the 14 inch of the same tyre?

Would never pay more than £10/tyre, I'm paying £30 for full set - always go to small local garage:)

Worn evenly across the tread, pressures regularly checked (though they kept pressure well). Offside fared better than nearside. It seems that chunks broke off the center tread, presumably when taking corners, leading to accelerated wear. Worn console bushes might have contributed (common Skoda Fabia issue), but I'd still expect more out of tyres than that. I've replaced them with Michelin Energy Saver +, and now have new console bushes. The other possible cause of accelerated wear on one tyre would be a slight brake imbalance, but it's gotten through the MOT fine.

The rears, also these, I got a year before the fronts, which is why when I needed some front tyres I went for the same again. They're still fine other than the nearside being worn on the outside edge. I suspect that would be due to alignment, so I've swapped them over. Unfortunately garage I last went to for MOT didn't do wheel alignment. So the rears have survived 2 years and approx 12-13k miles.

Can confirm it only works on the 15 inch set

so close to order a full set.
just thought to check again the size on the car.
195/55/16.

heat added

Really good tyres - replaced my front Avon with these and the difference is impressive.

These are summer tyres, not all season tyres.

But obviously in the 3rd most northern EU nation everyone will swap to winter tyres as the days grow shorter.

As if!!!

There's reviews saying similar about wear here tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyr…htm if you don't want to take my word for it

E.g.

Given 53% (breakdown) while driving a Volkswagen Golf mk6 GTD … Given 53% (breakdown) while driving a Volkswagen Golf mk6 GTD (205-55-16-V)Driving on mostly motorways for 20,000 easy going milesI am fairly steady eddy and never drive to the limit rarely need to break sharply but want a tyre that can be relied on.I bought these as they had A rating in all categories.I will never bother with noise rating again as the road surface makes much more difference, fuel economy jury is out.My biggest gripe is wear totally shocking wore out far to quickly and the grip went down hill rapidly with the wear no grip when I changed them with over 2 mm left and they were feathering badly and the tracking is perfect.Never again for me.

These Falkens(wrong picture at amazon website) £36.28 after code, good tyres
amazon.co.uk/Fal…-15

Is this anything to worry about or is it the same across all budget tyres like Hankook etc

"Beware, these tyres are good in warm weather but only mediocre in winter. They are not as good as the EU tyre label would have you believe, because the EU test is done at 21C! How often is it ever 21C in Britain? They think this is acceptable because the Germans have to fit different (winter) tyres in winter. Whereas we in the UK do not!"

I have 225 versions of these on my car.

£50each fitted, love em!

has anyone received their ordered tyres?

ed most garages charge over £15 to fit each tyre so 249 for 4 including fitting is not that bad
