I typically make a judgement of a review's credibility based on spelling, punctuation and grammar. Based on this review, I get the impression this user was trying to recharge a turnip.

Maybe a silly question but is this compatible with alternate rechargeable batteries apart from Duracell batteries?

It should be, though I'm not sure if the fast charging transfer to non Duracell batteries

Just saw some questions answered on Amazon. Some of the answered questions on Amazon state it is possible to charge other brands of rechargeable batteries but maybe it's not all of them.

I just bought one of these yesterday, didn't realise it had been out of stock.. It comes with 2 1300ma batteries but we paid £7 to get 4 duracell 2500ma batteries to make them last longer between charges in our oculus rift controllers.. Baffles me how we're still using cell batteries like this in 2020

So you're saying it won't recharge turnips?
Disappointing. :-)
Had this and binned...quick charge on it kills batteries fast. Really fast. All Duracell batteries it came with were dead in 7 months.
It does charges any batteries you have, no problem, but I don't recommend it.
They charge batteries individually. Good price- bought one.
Rubbish! Has killed 9 batteries of 14 I had and charged around 11-ish times. Worst charger I had.
