This is my third order from these guys. I know the odd person has said they never received their goods, but they do have a good reputation on TrustPilot. For £2.51 delivered it's good enough for me Been over 3 months since the last post, so thought I'd remind you good folks. Use code UKD2017 for this price. Looking forward to the landfill comments.

Clown alert. Hope you got your 10x refund then. They are still honouring their promise but you obviously missed that.

Thanks hot.

What's the difference, if any, between these and ones you can pick up at a supermarket? As in, why are they called industrial batteries?

We have been buying the Ikea brand of AA and AAA alkaline batteries, we used to buy these type listed here before.
The Ikea ones are £1,50 for 10 and have been as good, but obviously cheaper.

I think the term Industrial meant that they were intended more for the commercial market rather than retail, by being sold in bulk.

Just the new name for the old Procell. Here's a comparison chart

But not as good as they were when they were called Procell!

i ordered 3 box's of 10 (30 AAA batteries total) on the last offer posted and recieved 3 box's of 100 (300 batteries total) for under £9

Better with Kodak Xtralife from Poundland or Tesco. Leaking Procells (confirmed as genuine by Duracell) wrecked my £100+ work light. Duracell's attitude was that they were the wrong batteries for the application. Where did it say that on the batteries? So no more Duracell. Comparisoncharts tell all.

Thanks Op. Ordered.

Kodak's are not good - They leak!!

This is a good price for Duracell and heat for that. But in my case I prefer the Kodak ones from Poundland simply because not only price but they are used in kids toys who always forget to turn them off. So I get the same amount of use out of them as I would the top brand.

ordered thanks. heat.

UK Dapper = waste of space.
Used them for a previous deal on PP3 batteries - supposedly a pack of 10. They emailed back to advise that they had made an error & that it should have been a 1off price not 10off - but they will, as a gesture of good will double the ordered amount ie. order 1, receive 2, order 2, receive 4 etc. etc. - or get a refund. Fair enough I thought so I continued with my purchase for 1 (receive 2). Only 1 arrived - doh. After numerous emails with them I gave up - wasn't worth my time. Won't be dealing with them again.

That's interesting - I ordered some the last time around and contacted Duracell UK with photos of the batteries (including having stripped the wrapping off one). They kindly verified that they are genuine from the serial numbers and the photos.
Hot from me.

Ordered thanks, these seem to last ages in my iMacs Bluetooth mouse.

These batteries are the worst I've ever had avoid at all cost

Xtralife? Never had a failure. Duracell and their variants - numerous leaky cells.

Also worth remembering that Wilko do 8 AA alkaline batteries for £0.95

used these for years and never had a leak, good quality batteries. batteries are one of the most faked products, you wouldn't think so but these and razor blades should only be bought from reputable sellers.

I've ordered these before from UKDapper and the life of the batteries is ridiculously short.
I won't be wasting my money again

I've used these (not from this seller) before and found the life in certain things is nowhere near what the old Procell's used to give.

ordered! thanks - ignore the naysayers!

That's because ever since Warren Buffet took over Duracell from P&G, the products have been more about profits than quality. My advice - look into GP Ultra batteries, good quality batteries and cheap - just have a google.

You can get the same stuff everyday for just 8p more on ebay.

Be extremely wary of Duracel batteries. The majority are fakes. I have had many which have turned out to be poor quality lead acid which have leaked and destroyed a Maglite and LED Lenser torches. There are web sites showing how to spot fakes. All genuine Duracel batteries have a laser etched batch number on them.

Never heard of these, but good reviews on Amazon, will try these out next time

Still getting the Wilko ones 8 for 95p.

A "good reputation on TrustPilot", is worthless in my book

Not for me. There are cheaper batteries that are just as good- IKEA or Wilkos

That seems like a lot of effort for a £2.51 pack of batteries...you sure you don't work for UKDapper?

I used to live near a battery factory when I was a kid. We used to take the batteries out of the skip, they worked pretty well but probably give you cancer.

just a little insight to my life as a child there for you.

You're Welcome.

Go to IKEA, buy Alkalisk for £1.50 for ten. Ignore any more battery threads, this is how you buy batteries. Don't fall for 'Procell' or 'Industrial'. They are the same batteries just packaged for sale to commercial users.
Duracell have been nothing but a name for a long time now. Shows the power of a brand though!

I seen a chart thing the other day saying that Ikea batteries out last the best of them.
