Small handy torch. Useful for keeping in your pocket/car/ handbag. Or wherever you might need to use. Thought a bargain at 99p

Great price OP, also handy to keep by your electrical switch Box

Better with the 9 led one from a pound shop .

There is a larger Duracell torch in home bargains for £1.69. As far as i can remember it's 6 led. I reckon the one twitwoo has highlighted is job done though.it's handy which is the whole point and it comes with a decent battery included. Pound shop ones don't. Kudos.

Been there for a month. Just didn't think its that good a deal so I didn't post it. You can get better ones in pound shops.

What size battery is that? Looks like AAA?

Don't think the ones in the pound shop are made by Duracell, more likely mr magoo. It is an aaa battery but its included.

Bargain quality brand

Yes 1AAA. 1 led. Not very strong light obviously. Like I said, you can get better ones at pound shops.

How much for the battery? Who makes em? Mr magoo!

It won't last long on a single AAA battery though, so don't see the point in buying it.

Not very scientific. A nine led on two aaa batteries wouldn't last as long. Think some people are missing the point.
99p
good make
includes battery
it's handy

Thought this site was called hotukdeals.

Oh yes, forgot to add, they're giving away an xbox one, moto g and an iphone 6 when you buy one... Honestly, some people :))

I bought one of these last weekend, its not very bright and I would not buy another.

Buy a cree led mini torch from amazon for about £1.70 and you'll never regret it they are mega bright and only use an aa battery that lasts a long time amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1
I've bought three now for the cars and house and I'm still amazed at the quality and brightmess.
They usually take about 8 days to arrive from China but worth the wait.

Intrigued. Just opened pack to see if a waste of 99p ( by heck, that's the gas money gone if it is). Lo and behold, I had a light. Not megawatts, but enough to see & be pretty grateful for if it was pitch black

The one from china doesn't come with a battery. How much did you pay for the battery?
Still a "bright" idea?

These are complete and utter rubbish. You get about 2 inches of light when the battery is new and considerably less after 10 minutes use of the battery. Threw it in the bin within one week.

Ten minutes? Whatever were you looking for. A brain perhaps.

As you seem to be lacking that thing you mentioned, let me make it simple for you.

You get about 10 minutes usage out of one AAA battery and then the light is practically useless.

A bit like your comments...

A dozen aa batterys can bought for about a £1 from Homebargains or poundshops.
I would never make my decision on buying a torch on the basis of an included battery.
If anyone is doubtfull about the Amazon cree torch compare the few comments of this Duracell 'toy' torch here and the 500+ of positive comments on Amazon.
Also a cree led is very energy efficient so the battery lasts for a very long time compared with this Duracell torch.

So the batteries cost you extra.
99p torch with battery.
End of.
Having said that the unexpected outrage is funny. We should campaign for the right to buy whatever torch someone wants.
Freedom to torch bearers!
They can take our lives but they'll never take our torches!

But you forgot something ,it's not a deal if its a crap product and just a waste of money
People think it will be a great quality because of the brand name but i looked at these in home bargains a few days ago and they are not worth 99p compared with what you can buy for very little extra that you will be truly impressed with.

Hi i'm glad you agree the cree torches are amazing for the money.
I've tried to tell people about the quality and value of these cree torches but i'm just getting stupid replies like "not worth it as no batteries included & extra Quid for the batteries" even though you can get 10 batteries for a pound.
So basically people are happy to buy these home bargain crap torches and be happy because they got a free battery
