incredible maths skills, what equipment did you use to divide by 10?

They are £1.20 for a pack of 4 in wholesaling warehouses in Glasgow, there some in Manchester but i forgot which area.

These are always this price and have been posted many times before. e.g. this one goes back over 4 months hotukdeals.com/dea…350

However, arguably, the M3 Ultra batteries are a better buy for another £1.40 [for the AAs]

or the AAAs are just 20p more. 7dayshop.com/cat…363

I have loads of these they are excellent batteries ,Mine are Procell made by Duracell this i think is a trade thingy when i bought them they worked out a lot cheaper.Unfortunately i have had these a while and don't have a link but if you google you should find them .Best of luck

Yep, bought some Procells recently off the 'bay. [forgot about them ]

50 X AAs for £12,95 and 50 X AAAs for £9.20.

So far they do seem to have that bit more 'lastability'....

35p each isn't great. 26p each has just been/is available on other deals here.

thanks!

Aprmedia for the AAs - though won't be using them again as they took 3 days just to 'process' the order!

and babz_s for the AAAs... excellent service there

Morrisons are selling their own brand of 4x AA for £1 if anyone's interested.

Rechargeables work out a lot cheaper than those, still - equivalent to a few pennies per battery at most, over their lifetime - including the cost of a charger. Do you find needing to recharge them so inconvenient that you prefer to go to the trouble of buying disposables all the time?

"Morrisons" own brand? you got to be joking mate.

"Morrisons" own brand? you got to be joking mate.

Why? Since when did brand tell you how good a battery is?

I got 16 Duracell PLUS AA Batteries for £4.45 from Amazon on 2nd January, which equates to £11.12 for 40 for purposes of comparison with this regular 7dayshop price. To buy in this quantity I think I'd pesonally be looking at a price as low as about £10.50.

Just checked and although they have gone up on Amazon they are still cheaper than this deal - £4.99 for 16

7dayshop tried to keep my money and nto send my item. had to get TS involved... steer clear of them.

Have had no problems with 7day shop myself, in fact I have found them to be very efficient

I, too have had no problem with them - like all these places you are going to get some bad experiences which make you fume, but I see no evidence that they are worse than anyone else. You look at the complaints made about eBuyer, Overclockers, Pixmania...

Much less effort than going through the ordering procedure, blowing wads of cash and making sure you're in when they arrive is to pop them in a charger... that's what the really sensible people do

Where is best for 9v at the moment. Could do with new ones for the smoke alarms.

It's not on their web site at the moment. (well i can't find it, like), but our local Asda (Walton, Liverpool) are doing cheap deals on the Duracell range. I'm in there tomorrow so i'll check out the 9v prices.

I do know that they're doing 16 AAs or AAAs (two sets of 8 ) for 5 quid and 8 (two sets of 4) for 3 quid.

So, by my reckoning, one could get 40 AA's or AAA's for 13 quid...or even better value 48 for £15

they seem to be struggling lately, but I'll stick with them due to excellent service over the past few years

The Gadget Show did an experiment and Morrisons own brand of high powered batteries came out top, they tested around 20 different batteries on those annoying dogs that constantly bark and flip 360 Degrees.

I used to go through loads of these, but on the path to replacing them all with eneloop batteries. More expensive up front; but so worth it in the long run.

Morrisons own brand ruined a £30 torch of mine, four days in the torch and they leaked, never buy cheap batteries unless the gadget is less money than the cost of the batteries

Thanks. ordered some PP3, and will order some AAA from babz_s. However, they don't sell AA, so may have to go with aprmedia for the AA since they appear to be the cheapest
