Very good price, but not a lot of gadgets take this size anymore. Bought one for my 70's eveready bicycle lamp, now to get a charger.

Hot hot hot. I recently bought 4 duracel no need rechargeable batteries for my son's baby bouncer and that was nearly a tenner. Only cost 15 for the bouncer so this is a bargain.

Now £19.97 plus 89p delivery!

Nope still there but 1-3 week delivery

Nicely spotted. Thanks for the info. Never enough batteries to power all the kids toys whizzing around.

I almost bought it as I need 6 C batteries for my daughter CD player, but then I remembered that I have no charger

Is it just me or hardly anything takes rechargeable s these days ? Almost everything I have says not to use em... scam to keep the sales on ordinary batteries up you think ?

It's just you.

These are pretty poor batteries I'm afraid - they're just standard (not low self-discharge AKA pre-charged) AAs surrounded by air. Don't be misled by the brand engineering. It would only be worth using them in clocks which normally ate batteries in a few weeks.

Instead, I'd recommend buying AAs, preferably pre-charged, and using C-cell adaptors. They will perform just as well but will be a lot more versatile.

Having said that, any recharageable is millions of times better than a disposable.

1 guess who missed out.available again however at this time.

2200mAh.. that's terrible! C rechargeables are normally around 6000mAh

As pibpob said above, these are just AA batteries inside a larger case. What a ripoff!

No they aren't!

These are terrible, they are AA Cells inside a C shell, they feel light and hollow, because they are!

Decent C Cells should be around 4000mah

Not quite, but they are over 4Ah.

Sorry, typo, should have put 5000 mAh

Still, 2200mAh vs 5000mAh is pretty terrible as per my original statement.

awful, wife bought some via amazon, dead on arrival.

try 7day shop as an alternative if you really need em.

We bought some 7dayshop C Cell batteries, 4000 mah, but they wouldn't power some of the kids toys, however oddly the duracell rechargeables worked fine

curious, but handy info to know, hope you got your money back, they sound faulty stock,
