These were only £3.99 as a "very limited deal !" which were listed last week @ 7dayshop, so good compared to a shop, however who buys from a shop!!

OK price, if you must have brand names, bnt in practice, nothing very special about Duracell, it's all about advertising. In any case, standard NiMH batteies like these are not something I will be buying more of since the New Technology Low Sef Discharge type came along.
Amost everyone will be happier with the LSD type, even though they are nominally lower capacity than these.
Currently best deal on them is at the same dealer, and substantially cheaper too:

Oops just noticed these are 2650mAh the ones I bought were 2450mAh so these are better.!

Good for Wii remotes then? I am alway replacing standard batterys..I do have the rechargable Wii battery packs but they dony seem to last very long, Maybe these will be better.

I use these in my 360 controller and steering wheel and they last for ages. I think they are excellent.
