These are brilliant rechargeable batteries and RRP is 11.99 but never seen them that expensive. But still this is cheapest I've seen at £3.79.

Just stopped a friend paying about £7 for these today.

Just ordered some superb deal...Voted Hot..:)

cool - just ordered 2 sets and also picked up a charger and some AAA ones as well - should save me some money as my Nikon speedlight flash is sucking battries dry like no tomorrow - hopefully they should be ok. - heat added !

i've got some of these, they're good. worked well in my kodak camera, but seem to last forever in my little pink speaker. hot

order a couple them once BUT they don't seem to hold its battery life, once charged left a few days and battery life just goes. Use uniross now, as it doesn't have this problem.

Never used these before. I know this is a stupid question but how would you recharge then? Is there something seperate you have to buy or is it all included

Just ordered some cheers. Heat added

nice needed to throw away my older rechargeable batteries too

Is there a difference between these amazon.co.uk/Dur…1-5 and the ones posted apart from they 'look' differant??

bought.. don't know why...

Bought 1 off the sets OP offered and one of the sets in my post above!! Heat added, thanks OP.
Just noticed the picture in the ones I posted says 2650mah but the description says 2450mah. Will see what turns up.

Good price. Usually £5 the cheapest for this mAh version. Tesco has them for £14.99. Every little helps. Not. They can't fool me with their adverts and posters.

Looks lke the few reviews that were bad are from buyers that never bought them through a recognised seller, they went through dodgy marketplace sellers that are basically ebay sellers who sell fake goods and turns out there batteries were fake Duracells!
Not like these proper ones from an authorised Amazon seller!

I always find rechargeable batteries quite confusing - can you put ANY rechargeable battery into ANY rechargeable battery charger? Yes, I know the brands don't matter, but can you put Ni-Cad batteries in a charger for Ni-Lh batteries (or whatever the different technologies are!)

Basically, can ANY rechargeable battery be recharged in ANY charger?

Good price eBay seller has them for
£4.39 aswell

Very nice, ordered two sets thanks op

I have a Uniross charger 5 years ago which says Ni-Li and Ni-Ca on the front, so check for any info on the charger.

The time is right for site owners to generously reward kind chaps who post red hot deals here.

No, it doesn't usually matter as Ni-cad is old, bad for the environment, and not really useful in most things that take AA's, so most chargers are meant for Ni-mh anyway or both types. If you've got a really old charger that's only designed for Ni-cad batteries it's not a good idea to charge Ni-mh batteries in it.

These batteries are a good price if you are good at remembering to charge them the day before you need them, but personally I would still pay the extra and get new hybrid/eneloop/instant-type ones as they hold their charge for over a year if left sitting around (like non-rechargeables). These older duracell ones will go flat in months if not weeks. So hybrid ones are a lot more useful for most people.

Still available - just ordered.

Why Expired???

Awesome, really need new rechargeables as my ones are useless.

Can anyone recommend a decent charger to use with these? Is it worth getting the recommended Duracell one?

thanks orderd the batteries and the charger, heated

thanks orderd the batteries and the charger, heated

actually tried but doesn't let me because its expired, which isnt true

Bought some Duracell rechargeables from Sainsburys about three years ago - they were binned within months because a) they performed poorly and.. crucially.. b) the plastic outer coating peeled off.. they did not look safe..

All the Energizer rechargeables batteries I bought at around the same time are still going strong today..

Been using these batteries with 360 controllers alongside Energizer of 2450mAh. The Energizer last longer, but the Duracell do pretty well.

nice 1 just what i was after for my 360 pad
.

Why expired? Just ordered some at £3.74

I think it's expired because the price has changed - it's gone DOWN!
