heat given. Same price at Tesco from tomorrow. But great find.

High end AAs perform almost exactly the same as cheapos as long as you get alkaline cells (avoid zinc ones).

A good price but a waste of money

I buy my AA, AAA, ultras from eBay. They work out 50p each. I never pay more than 50p per battery. So you don't need prime for this. But don't ask for links, the last time I bought them was January. I'm sure you'll be able to find some though

I wish these had been rechargeable.

Nope, I can't solve the riddle. How about a clue?

IKEA alkalisk still way better value. Duracell riding the wave of past excellence, now just mid-low range rubbish with a fancy colour.. Only the gullible keep it afloat.

Did anyone pick up the Philips aa/aaa batteries when they were a pound a pack in b&m? Just wondering what people's thoughts on them are. I've bought a few packs and they don't seem to last as long as the Duracell's I used to buy.

Are they Zinc? If so, then yeah. Buy Alkaline .
