"fixings: sold separately"
What!? Do you have to buy the brackets separately as well or is it on about screws and rawl plugs? Bit of a rip off if so.

Good point. It comes with bracket but you do need to use your own wall screw and rawl plugs as these are more dependent on where you're putting the shelf and how much stuff you'll be placing on it. Feels like a bit of a rip off but makes sense really.

I am in the middle of putting these up. The small screw that comes with the kit to fix the shelf to the bracket is too small to be effective (ie wrong diameter). the shelf is not secured into place with it.
Now looking forward to either returning and have wasted my afternoon, or walking round with the bits to find the right screw.

The screw is meant to be lose to allow flex in the shelf so that the weight transfers onto the bracket not the screw (that's why the brackets are angled upwards) otherwise a larger screw will pull the shelf onto the bracket and won't be level. I thought they were faulty until I saw a demonstration!
