This is a misprice for this particular sofa. On the actual House of Fraser sofa site it is priced at £5368!
There isn't an option of 4 years interest free credit. You have to pay outright.

I would've loved to have got these but don't think they'll be suitable for kitchen/living room.
After seeing this they might change it.

Above is the link for the technical details, size etc also the price it should be.

These are gorgeous but sooooooo long and deep. You cannot sit in them like a normal sofa with your knees bent .....These have a seat depth of 78cm so you will be like a 5 year old sitting on a sofa with your legs sticking Out !!. Not sure I would like that bit

They will not honour this price once they realise. Your money will be in limbo for about a week at least, gaining less (0%) interest compared to interest received whilst sitting in a bank. Your actually loosing money.

That's perhaps going a bit too far with the whole losing money thing. The interest you would have got is pennies.

On a more serious note, is it me or is this sofa ugly.

Perhaps it's because the colour is shocking
Cheap enough to be fair but anyone who buys this you need sun glasses for your guests

Well this is HotDealsUK not How to Lose Interest UK. Just making people aware, as the pennies do add up

Sorry but that is ugly to me so even for £80 I would order that.

Buy a £400 sofa and a paintball gun.
Won't look any worse than that.

I like it! Heat

In which case, have you calculated the electricity used by your phone as you types these messages? Could have saved a penny...

Reminds me of choc limes

The Watson Grand at 649 instead of 3640 looks better, but granted it probably won't be honoured.

I use a solar powered charger

Looks like something you might find in an upmarket brothel (not that I've ever been in one, you understand).

Would love to know how many people have paid £5368 for this sofa...

That is the ugliest looking sofa I've ever seen!

You can't seriously think this looks better

I have just bought one, checked with HOF customer services and the price is valid.
Funny thing is i have nowhere to put it , does anyone want to buy a Tetrad Eastwood Grand sofa?

Two customer services chats confirmed price...store guy said no.... ?.

Had to buy one though!!

Called into the store myself and they said no chance will get cancelled, called customer services and they confirmed price!
I've a Duresta sofa and the quality is 1st class, tempted to order!

Nothing to loose, Ordered..

Great way of assisting a company to declare a higher than realistic yearly revenue, will look great at the board meeting and to shareholders. Believe me they will cancel the order

Sounds like you are a HOF employee??

Yes, I do think the cream one looks better than the puke-coloured one, thanks.
(It seems elsewhere on the site the Watson sofa is listed as "Now £3640.00 MRP £4283.00", with the sofa-bed being 15% off too. But they've actually reduced it by 85% to £649 in the basket.)

Not really? They would surely only recognise the sale once despatched or delivered? Only way they would 'gain' from lots of orders later cancelled would be a temporary boost to the bank balance.

A temporary boost to their bank balance will reflect in total yearly revenue (within end of year accounts), hence my comment

No it won't. Bank balance does not equate to revenue.

Company sales / income does equate to revenue, it will be recorded as sales / income regardless as to whether it was refunded or not

Sinxa - I'm afraid you are somewhat confused. Look up accounting standards IAS 18 or IFRS 15 on revenue recognition if you are genuinely interested.

I hope they honour this

My apologies you are correct, returns run through the contra-revenue account, thus subtracted from the total and gross revenue. I attempted to establish my
own conspiracy there haha. However, my main concern is the initial statement relating to HOF rejecting the sale & interest being lost whilst stuck in limbo as oppose to sitting in a bank account.

Hi has anyone had their order cancelled? I see both Duresta options are now out of stock.
