You basically plug it into one USB port and then it lets you plug 10 things into the USB ports that are part of it. Although it recommends that for over 3 ports in use at the same time you use the mains plug so that there is enough power.

you should mention its USB 2.0 in your title

OK thanks I've edited it.

Exactly what I needed, thanks!

Does anyone know if you can plug these things into a mains adapter - as have loads of devices that require charging via USB?

Cheers

It's mains-powered, so you can use it as a charger.

"reduced from £39.99 to £4.99." - hardly! £4.99 is a good price, though.

You can see the actual prices it's been sold for this year here uk.camelcamelcamel.com/Dur…31M

Ha, yeah, not quite as much as they say on the Amazon page!! Still, even if was always £4.99, given the reviews it's got on Amazon and the prices of anything comparable it still seems a decent deal.

I heard about that Camel website recently - I should try using it more often!

Only problem is that Amazon have now started charging for postage under £10 where it used to be free.

It looks like if you get it delivered to Amazon locker, or activate the free trial of Prime, you can get it for free? I have already edited the post to reflect the charge possibility though. Also I'm sure people on here could find something else to purchase ;D
