Play.com:
"Sonic the Hedgehog, is recognized worldwide, as one of the best known - and best loved - animated characters. These animated episodes, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, star Sonic, a speedy blue hedgehog, and his best bud, Tails, a flying fox with two tails, as they stop the evil Dr. Ivo Robotnik and his array of vicious robots from taking over the planet Mobius.
Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is a fast-paced cartoon with a lot of slapstick humour, and features the vocal talents of Jaleel White, Christopher Evan Welch and Long John Baldry. This box set features all 65 episodes of the series in an eight DVD collector's edition."

Just sharing this user review that's on the Play.com website for those interested:

Do you remember a time when Sonic cartoons were actually above par in … Do you remember a time when Sonic cartoons were actually above par in terms of story and also great to watch? Well, this series also known AoStH was one of the only two continuities that actually kept the audience glued to the TV screens back in 1993.Jaleel White in a lot of peoples' mind was, is and the only true voice of the legendary blue hedgehog, and I happen to concur with that sentiment. The stories were just pure slapstick humour, but that's what made it work. When you're a kid or a preteen, you didn't want stories that provoked thought; you just wanted to see Sonic defeat the bad guys and see the funniest ways in which it would happen.Scratch and Grounder were just the perfect comedy screw-up duo with the way they would fail with every plan at attempting to catch Sonic and Tails.Long John Baldry was perfect for the role or Dr.Robotnik and not just the way the animators had the character move it was also how Baldry composed himself when he would make Robotnik sound aggitated and over prouncing letters in words and how he would use long complicated words that would just put the audience into hysteric fits of laughter. This series has many references to the original Sonic games where they would mention the name of Zones in the stories and devices that can also be found in the games. So if you want to take home what is considered one of the best Sonic animated shows ever, than I strongly recommend the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog to you.
