I've just seen Zavvi tweet this at £13.99 and had a look around to compare some prices.

Amazon have it listed at £10.79 which is an awesome price for Prime members. If you don't have Amazon Prime, it's £10.97 at Zoom with code SIGNUP10

Amazon are listing the 13 disc, 2012 release and Zoom the 5 disc, 2013 release. But I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere, sometime that they are all the 13 disc release (from Zoom), if somebody could confirm?

Amazon review.

When I was browsing to purchase the whole set of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender', I stumbled across two versions "5 Disc Version" and a "13 Disc Version". The one advertised as "13 discs" was much more pricey and had me confused to which one I should get.

Turns out both are the same, and both have 13 discs, so there is some miscommunication here. The only difference between the two is the packaging; the "5 disc" version is the latest one released is slimmed down greatly and apparently is better at holding the discs inside (though one of my discs keeps popping out).

Inside the box, you will find three DVD cases featuring:
∙ The Complete Book 1 Collection (5 Discs).
∙ The Complete Book 2 Collection (4 Discs).
∙ The Complete Book 3 Collection (4 Discs).

As for the animé, I've had my friends nag me for so long to see this series and eventually gave in. Honestly, I can't believe I hadn't listened to them sooner, this series is incredibly gripping all the way through.

So all in all, would I recommend this? Absolutely.

Im so tempted to buy this, even though i own all 3 books separately. >_>

Lame question... The description says books and then we talk about DVDs. What am i missing?

Thank you Buzz. All clear now!

This show is amazing. Honestly one of the best stories ever! Hope they make some more in the future

Great for people of all ages! Brilliant story telling and characters! Bargain price!!

Ordered heard great things but never got around to seeing it. Worth a shot at this price.

Being interesting to see what the picture quality is like as a lot of reviews say its very poor- ie a bad rip from on dodgy on line site, we will see tomorrow if it is its going back

Excellent series , I would suggest you go for the region 1 versions they are way better, would love them on bluray like avatar Korra

from the first review on amazon, the video quality is awful for dvd version as it is a "slim" version.
