Great films clearence in Sainsbury`s Peterborough branch.

DVDs from £1 (i.e.: Michael Mann`s Miami Vice), and BluRays from £5 - just bought Tyson: The Movie and Tell No One based on Harlan Coben`s novel, both for a tenner

Brand new, sealed! More titles available from £1 (dvd) and £5 (blurays).

Not sure if it`s nationwide, probably local offer only.

tyson is the only blueray for a fiver.

cheers will look

I'll give some heat, but saying "from £1 or £5" doesn't really give enough details. Thanks for the post though.

Miami Vice for £1 is nationwide. They also had a Lassie movie and Too Young to Die (with Brad Pitt) for £1.

Original Poster

Film Brain, and Pact if i remember correctly.

andrew521, i found at least 4 titles (blurays), each for a fiver, in P`boro store.

Sorry guys, cant remember titles as i took only what i was interested in.

Can only seem to get the Blu Rays I want online these days, the blu ray section in my local HMV has shrunk dramatically over the past few months, will take a look at the selection in Sainsburys.

I needed to get Quantum of Solance (The Latest James Bond Film) for a friends birthday last Friday and couldnt get it anywhere in Manchester city centre, the selection in HMV arndale was extremely poor, had to resort to getting it online.

Good, but no doubt you will want a film they do not have! Hot still!

Yeah tried HMV on Market St first and they had a resonable selection but not Quantum, tried Fopp (around the corner from h&m) which is owned by HMV now and they had hardly any blu rays, also tried the new shop in Halle Square which had a few blu rays but not many, wouldnt have thought it was so hard to get a recent movie but it was!

Just saw on CEX website

uk.webuy.com/pro…761

They have QoS in the Arndale for £12 - best viewed instore if you don't want to be sent their worst condition item by mail! They are often like new if you don't mind open boxes - I just change the cases and they are good as new! And are not a slipcase fetishist...
