It is PC as well (even though this comes from a Mac shop). Just pop dymo into the site search box and the Dymo 400 pops up with the "basic" information.

It's a thermal printer - you just need compatable labels - i.e. no ink!

why is it called the model cslled a "Mac" Label printer on their web site if its not for a Mac ?

Voted HOT. Have one of these at home and been working for years. Boss has also had one in office for 4 years and use for a tonne of labels. Very cheap to run. No ink needed and cheap compatible labels available (we get ours from ebay).

P.S. We use label ID 99010 for our standard address labels, easy to fit in full address and a return address too.

I find the best ones for general use are 99012 sized labels, 260 per roll.
£27 delivered for 10 rolls on ebay 330313362108 (have used this seller before)

Could someone tell me the best way to integrate one of these writers into ebay selling. Eg. Say I sell 100 items on ebay, how do I get all of those addresses and get them to the dymo and printed without copying and pasting a vast number of addresses?

Is there an ebay auction manager that can help or is there a way of doing it through ebay.com or does they dymo software do it all for you?

Thanks

Try Packing Partner from ]Aimco

Used it for a few years. It extracts eBay and Amazon data from your sales list and will print labels and invoices plus packing lists etc as you wish. A very good investment and can be set up to use with a labelprinter such as this one. There is a trial period so you could see if it suits your needs.

The website sells mainly stuff for Macs. The title has actually flowed over the line and reads :
Dymo Label Writer 400 Mac PC USB

Dont worry, it does work on PCs.

Entering bank number unsecured and having to fax your invoice makes it seem rather dodgy to me, especially coupled with the 6-8 weeks for processing.

Thanks for that, but seems pritty dear. I dont mind doing a bit of legwork but was wondering how the software for dymo fairs? Can it read off excel tables. I probably only sell around 50 items a month through ebay so im wondering whether its worth it?

Have you got the link for it pls? i cant seem to find it.

H +R added. Cheers OP for a great find.

Gets good reviews - review.zdnet.com/pro…040

If there is a six - eight week waiting period and that gets extended, then the £20 back offer might not apply.

Yeah, it's a good piece of software to use with the Dymo, actually any printer really. I've also just started using another piece of software, ]Papilion.

To be honest, I actually know the developer, really amazing software, handles everything to do with ebay, I think he's testing it right now, anyone want to give it a try, let me know and i'll get you some invites.

iban and swift details are completely useless to anyone bar the account holder as it's for incoming transactions only according to my bank LLOYDS.

If this is correct then no problem, however, i would blank out any payment details if it's necessary to fax invoice proof.

Good printers, have them at work and pay way more than that! Rolls are expensive though.

I've had a Dymo for about 10 years now and they are good. However if you have to print lots of labels (100's) it really is faster with a laser and A4 label sheets. Oddly they are most use for single and short run prints despite their functionality. When you have a couple of hundred labels it is a pain handling the roll it produces.

Also the labels are pretty expensive unless bought in large bulk packs.

Yes I would agree that A4 label sheets are cheaper and easier for large runs of labels. A bespoke label printer is best for small jobs or individual labels. The label cost works out at about 1p each on the Dymo if you buy a few packs together.

the deal is nice indeed, heat added, however I would recommend to avoid Cancom as their customer service is just a little bit better than totally rubbish.
