I saw this today in my local Asda but ...

i don't really need this thing.

Price is really good but i prefer to print address and everything else straight on envelopes (with no bubbles).

Voted Hot - great discount

Expired online removes once you go to pay but thanks for listing

instore as op explains

What do you mean I read this from OP:

"Available instore and online"

Good printer a good price if you didn't get one last time when there was cash back

realblender your wrong dude, he was just reading what the op put.

Got one of these a long while ago.

I still use A4 sheets of labels for certain things, but the labels that I do on this machine are always printed easily and well. Very highly recommended.

Cheap labels available on Ebay.

Agreed! Think it was the 1st deal I learnt about on this site. Think I paid about £18 with around 1600 labels - bargain!

good price, I did the previous cashback deal direct through Dymo too.

i earned £750 including selling them off ebay for £50 each and £100 cashback x5 after spending £425 for five machines. So this a good deal as cheaper than ebay!

Allow me to be a little dumb.

When you say 'paper on eBay' does this thing print on paper - and I have to mount them? (i.e. glue/sellotape)

Or does it work on sticker rolls like the other ones? Anyone know a ball park price for a standard roll? (if so)

I've had the dymo 310 ( obviously older model but excellent) for several years now. It uses thermal stickers on a roll I think I paid about fifteen quid for a pack of ten rolls last year.

Deal expired - out of stock.

The labelwriter 450 prints on rolls of sticky labels.
Dymo branded ones are very expensive - say £6 or more for 200 labels-ish.
But on amazon you can get "compatible" ones unbranded that do the job - half or a third the Dymo price, though I've read reports that they're illegal due to the black marks the machine needs on the back of the roll being patented - but that might not be true, I;m not a patent expert, and surely Amazon wouldn't sell hookey stuff.
Also available on ebay at similar cut prices.

I've used some of the ones from Amazon and they're pretty poor quality - the quality of print is patchy and the adhesive is poor. I'm now back using the official Dymo ones!

it prints on thermal stickers. readily available from dymo or stationary shops, they're not too expensive if you get them on offer.

i bought one of these a while ago on a dymo cashback offer posted here. It's a fantastic little printer. I use it for address labels for mail order and thought at the time 'should i go for the turbo version' but they print out quicker than I can move my hand to get them so the only way that I think that the turbo version could get any faster is if the labels flew out so fast they'd stick straight to the envelopes. Ok, maybe that theory needs a little refining......

I get my labels from ebay, the 'compatible' ones, and I honestly cant tell the difference between them and the real ones. Cost about £1.35-£3 per roll depending on they type of label you after (99010, 99012, 99014 etc)

Who remembers the deal where you got this and 1000's of labels for abour £12 lol

Just discovered mine buried in the garage since January. Set it up last night, excellent piece of kit. Quick and easy to print off a single label or hundreds as you wish. The six rolls of labels it came with will easily last my lifetime so won't need to buy any more, hehehe.

Thanks op, I saw this deal this morning and got one of the final 2 reserved for me in Wakefield. As the person in the shop was reserving mine she commented on how much it had come down in price and a women next to her grabbed the other and buggered off with it lol!!!

wow this has reminded me, i dont even know if dymo paid their cashback into my account!

there were some problems and i never checked i think

Just got a pack of 5 rolls (260 labels each) from Mr Stationery via Amazon for £8.95 and they are fine - print and stick just as well as the Dymo ones supplied with the printer.
