Dymo has launched a really weird cashback promotion. Buying a LabelWriter (the cheapest one is the model 450) and at the SAME TIME 6 packs of labels you can claim a cashback of £100. Well, the interesting point is that you get this combination for around £111. Effective cost: £11!

I'd suggest to buy the 450 model together with 6 pieces of labels no. "99010" (2 rolls per box; see goo.gl/7eiiQ in total 1560 address labels).

The cashback claim has to be done through the website dymo-time.com/Q3U…lse

The cashback offer is valid for products bought between 1/10/2011 and 31/12/2011.

Enjoy!

Update: The price for the labels has increased so that you have to pay £118. On crazydaves.co.uk (listed as official distributor) the package is still available at £109.

Update2: crazydave also increased its prices. Either order at dymo-label-printers.co.uk for £115 (maybe they return with the initial offer tomorrow, let's see) or at leoofficesupplies.co.uk for the same price.

Update3: leoofficesupplies.co.uk delivers for only £104 if you take the S0722550 labels (a bit small though). Effective cost £4.

Update4: Yellowplum (see other deal) has posted that at Viking Direct when ordering the item no. P29-LW99010 6 times you get the Dymo 450 for free paying finally only £85. It is not yet clear if Dymo accepts this for the £100 cashback. You may also try the item YHL-PRVACUUMCL5 (free vacuum cleaner, thanks to heovang). If you succeed you even earn £15 on the deal.

Update5: Currently cheapest and in stock at labelzone.co.uk/ (official supplier and named by the promoter) For 10% off Labels using code DYMO10

Update6: 6x S0722550 labels and Dymo 450 for £108 @dymo-label-printers. Thanks to fiyero.

Update7: Offer now EXPIRED. Dymo have updated the terms and conditions such that only orders placed before 09/11/11 13:00 will be eligible for cashback. Cashback for orders placed before this (even if not yet received) will still be honoured.

These have been superceded by those on the DYMO website. However, in case of dispute, remember that you placed your order based on the original terms and conditions.

They're hoping you stick with the branded labels I assume, but we've been buying our unbranded labels off ebay for a few years now. Never had a problem.

Have you got an item number? Thanks.

is there any catch?

The image on the cashback site shows 6 BOXES of labels, which would mean the cost of this is £116.

I suspect they want you to buy 6 boxes, not rolls.

Although I don't see how on the cashback site they can identify you bought any labels at all!

you need 6x labels + the writers, not 3

if you read the terms and conditions you have to buy 6 packs of labels so 3 packs of 2 would not count but even with 6 packs its only £111.53 so £11.53 for a label writter and 1560 labels is pretty hot!

but even so, it comes to £111.53

so you pay £11.53 for the writer and labels

Am I being stupid here - the offer says six packs of labels, so surely that would be 6x 99010 not 3x - making the total cost £111.53?

Mark

Oops - stupid and a little too slow too lol

I suspect that you have to buy 6 boxes of labels, not just 6 rolls in 3 boxes. The T&Cs are not clear though.

Original Poster

I would try it with 3 boxes =6 rolls. If you want to be 100% sure order 6 boxes. (_;)

I think you would need to buy 6 x 99010 to get the £100 cashback, still a great offer, HEAT.......

Cam anyone actually confirm the deal? is it boxes or packs ?

Buy the Dymo Labelwriter 450 and 6 packs of labelwriter labels on the same order between 1st October 2011 and 31st December 2011, and you can claim £100 cashback from Dymo. For details of all our current promotions, and details on how to claim, click here.

If this sounds like a really crazy deal, that's because it is - do the maths! You could walk away with a labelwriter and labels for virtually nothing, it really is a crazy deal.

If you're wondering which labels to buy the most popular ones by far are the 99012 Large Address Labels.

So even their own website is saying this would be vertually nothing to buy this, will have a stab

Hot from me - gone for one

the image clearly shows 6 boxes

voted hot
in the claim form they want only the serial number and how many labels you bought

Plus a scan of the receipt.....

its coming up as 11.53 after cashback?

Seems a good deal, anyone know if this website is reputable?

I don't understand this deal. One dual pack of labels cost £12.66 so the costs of the printer + 6 packs is £185.07. With £100 cashback we have a total cost of 85.07 - where does the cost at £11 come from?

omg, people please read previous comments before making yourself look stupid

3.2 There is absolutely no alternative available and no money will be issued regardless of the claim.

Anyone gone for this deal yet? not sure which label ones ill need yet .....not a product i was in the market for but it could come in useful, just worried incase cashback does not come through

I'd just make sure what you buy is listed in the "Consumables" drop down box of this page...

dymo-time.com/Q3U…ter

Otherwise you will struggle to fill out the claim form :-)

Just bought it! Free Next Day Delivery too!

lol, couldn't have put it better myself.

I can see that there will be quite a few "Dymo LabelWriter 450 + 6 Packs of Labels" on eBay later on this week :-) especially if this deal gets the heat it appears to deserve.

REMEMBER TO CHANGE DELIVERY TO:

Next Day Courier (cut-off 15:30) (£0.00)

IN ORDER TO BENEFIT FROM THE SPEEDY DELIVERY!

My Brother QL-550 is still going strong from an even better deal then this, from around 4 years ago:

Gone for this as-well. Via Shop
Mad deal if the cash back comes through.

Nice one OP + Heat

Yes, it's a genuine deal. It is for 6 BOXES, not rolls. 99012 is the most popular label for the Labelwriters. Also, you can claim 3 TIMES PER PERSON/ADDRESS. Therefore, if you buy 3 labelwriters and 18 boxes of labels you should get £300 cashback. Then sell the 2 spare printers on ebay and you will probably come out of it ahead! I got mine from the dymo-label-printers.co.uk website, they're doing free next day delivery as well. You then claim from the dymo-time.com website using your invoice as proof of purchase.

OK I'm being thick but its coming in at £185 for me too - could someone explain how it ends up as £11?

looks too good to be true.

Err my guess is it means you should only order the label printer listed

Exactly.

Very tempted, as can see a healthy profit made at the end of it, but is it worth the hassle, I certainly don't need one??

Decisions, decisions, think I'll leave it to those who actually might want the thing.

But when you add VAT the cost is £142.99.

£42.99 still cheap for the label printer and all those labels but not £11 as suggested
