I paid £399 for this and it was worth it. Looks great, heater amazing fan ok but wont cool down conservatory in the summer. Lets face it, its a status thing, and does have the wow factor so bargain at £229.

If you rrally need to cool down a room on a hor day, get a portable air conditioner about £100

Is it expensive to run ?

As a fan? No. I'd guess at something like 100w, so ~1.5p per hour, assuming you pay something close to average for your electricity.

As a 2000w fan heater? Considerably more so. About 25-30p per hour.

I don’t think it’s that’s good. The noise of the fan is irritating!

Dyson fans have a habit of having a noisy standby - like a speaker turned up to max with no input - so I'm passing on this.

I hate when electronics do that.

Bought it the other week for £200..sent it back..not worth anywhere near the money.
Looks good, but performed not much better than a £15 heater fan did

HOT! Thanks!
Been keeping my eye out for one of these, yes they are expensive but they look nice! (especially the black one!)
When looking on amazon's 1 star reviews for fan heaters:
Dyson: "Not worth the price".
Others: Picture of a blown fuse.

Yes, I understand it can happen with this, but it isn't a complaint I have heard at all.

Cold because of James Dyson. Great British engineering and design, but duplicitous owner who calls for the hardest of Brexits since he has moved manufacture out of the UK.
